Beauty and the Beast at MGM

This is a excellant show, DW and I have seen it several times, with and without the grandsons, and they really enjoyed it also. Your little ones will enjoy it.

We love this show & The Lion King Show. Although I admit that we love all the shows! We saw Beauty & Beast on Broadway, but this is entirely different to us. We loved both! We miss the Hunchback show it was one of our favorites & the Tarzan show.

I'm counting on this show to help change my attitude about MGM park overall when we go in a few weeks. Decided we need to approach this park differently this time and hoping BATB will be just what we need to fall in love with this park, too. :cheer2:

I've seen it several times - of course being a huge BATB fan! The stage show at MGM is like the movie come-to-life. IMO all seats are good ones. The males in my party usually make fun of Gaston's "muscles", but they enjoy it anyways - well chorographed and very visually entertaining... enjoy!

I agree with all the posters who love this show and Lion King. It's a toss up for me as to which is my favorite. I've seen both Beauty and the Beast and the Lion King on Broadway and loved them both, but the shows at Disney are of a totally different type then a long broadway play. They're short uplifting and fun, but I do think they are broadway quality productions!

My DD5 has to see this show every time we go. :happytv: She loves it. It is a VERY good show. My DH and I take turns taking her after the 1st couple of times watching it all together. I must say her new obsession is Lights Motors Action. :moped: For a while the only thing she really had to do at MGM was Beauty and Beast show, Mermaid and Playhouse Disney. The Playhouse Disney show really has lost it's appeal. Take your little one, she will love it. :thumbsup2

I'll be sure to put this show on the list. How early should we get there?

Do NOT do what we did and arrive just in time. You will have to sit in the hothot sun :sunny: and swelter. I cannot give an honest opinion based on the fact that we were so hot and miserable. It must have been ok, as we stayed to the sweaty end!! Get there in time to sit in the INSIDE shade!!

They open the seating 30 minutes before showtime.

The pre-show starts 12 minutes before showtime.

I would arrive at least 20 minutes before.

To check the show times, keep this link handy (the times vary, so check back when its time for your trip):

This site posts the shows and times for the current week, but they will be "similar" for other times as well.
Near the top of the page, click on the colored links for the show times at the various parks.
