Beaute Speciale OR Lisas magical weddings

Please help! I'm trying to decide who to book to do my wedding hair & make-up. I've narrowed it down to either Beaute Speciale or Lisas magical weddings and was hoping people might be able to post their experiences, prices, photos etc... Thankyou

My hair is what Im worried about the most, I have really long straight hair thats quite heavy and I either wanted half up & half down curled or all of it up in some sort of curly up do - but Im really worried that the weight of my hair and the heat in orlando will just make it fall apart

Seriously Ana in my honest opinion,me being a hiar stylist so I know a good one when I see one lol,is the best. She seriously is very talented. She is amazing with make up too!

mine is very heavy and thick as well and she seemed to have no probs, she used curlers and i think thats why it fell out, i'm going to ask her to use tongs on the day

I have pictures of trials with both Lisa's Magical Weddings and with Beaute Speciale in my siggy. Just makeup, not hair though.

I say Beaute Speciale as well! I had Lili and she was absolutely amazing. She did my hair and makeup. Check out my shots in my TR... the link is in my siggy.

I used Lisa, and I have to say... I was pretty nervous after reading some negative reviews on here! She was fantastic though, and managed to turn my tomboy self into someone I didn't recognise in the mirror (in a good way though!) My make-up stayed put until I took it off that night a good 14 hours later... and I swear my hair would still be in place now if I hadn't taken the bobby pins out. She made me look better than I could have imagined without me ever feeling like an overpainted clown... and I have no idea how she managed to make my short and choppy bob look like I had TONS of hair!

She is also really sweet and personable and made me feel totally at ease... although that could have been down to the bucks fizz I was quaffing whilst she worked away!

I had Lisa do my hair and make-up and it was fabulous. I do have one word of warning about emailing her, though: she is much better with communicating by phone.

I had a couple of issues with her not repsonding to my emails and on the day of my wedding she knocked on my door at 3:30 am rather than the 7:00 she was booked for, claiming she never got my MK photo session cancellation, which I sent by email and had discussed with her during my trial. Call and confirm with her to be sure - she will come, but if there are any changes at all, make sure you speak directly with her and that she notes it in her book right then and there.

I had Ana from Beaute Speciale for my MK portrait session and she was fabulous. I had a personal friend do my hair for my actual wedding day, so when Ana came to my hotel room, I just showed her pictures of what my hair looked like the day of the wedding. She was fabulous. The makeup and hair was even better than what I expected and she's extremely friendly. For coming to my hotel room at 4 am, I was impressed! Her prices were very reasonable, too. She told me that she keeps her Disney prices the same as when she used to work at Disney. Her sister, who is her secretary, was great with communication. I would highly recommend Ana!

Thankyou for all your hints n tips girls! I've been looking at everyones photos and you all look so glamorous I've just sent an email to Beaute Speciale asking for some information and prices, so I'll see what they say and how I feel Do they normally respond to emails pretty quick??

I used Lisa as well for myself, all of my bridesmaids and the mothers. Everyone was so thrilled.

I used Ana from Beaute Speciale. The one thing that really impressed me is that I had booked her to do false eyelashes - I did my own makeup, but wanted the lashes put on professionally. She told me truthfully that she didn't think I should go for it and gave me a lash thickener from her stash to use instead. Then she wouldn't let me pay for it. She also booked me last minute when I changed my mind about having my hair re-done for my MK shoot. Super nice woman and highly recommended.
