Bears

DH went out on the porch last night to unplug a Halloween decoration and just on the outside of our deck stood an 800 lb. black bear. He ignored DH and stole our garbage bag.

And 20 minutes after the bear left my crazy dh decided to check to see if the garbage bag lay close by.

I had a freaky dream about a bear last night! I have no idea why because I live on LI, NY, not exactly bear country, lol. Anyway, it was attacking my DH while my middle dd came running to get me. I ran inside and got a gun and shot the bear 6 times and then reloaded and shot him again. I think I need a dream analysis

Seriously though, that is scary!!! Be careful!

My parents live in Upstate New York. I called my mother on Mothers Day a couple years ago and she told me that there was a bear on their front porch that morning. She said that it was only a small one, but the bad news is that the bigger one was out there somewhere. It is very strange to see bears there. They have been moving into the area a lot lately and it could be kind of scary. Thankfully, I live in Florida.
