Bears vs Packers for the superbowl...

I'm hoping the reality "star" that is "in love" with Cutler jinxes him.

That is why she is all over the news.

Tickets go on sale this morning at 10:00 a.m. only 7000 tickets are open and available for the general public. People with Season tickets had the chance to purchase them a few weeks ago.

I heard this game is going to be more exciting than the superbowl and it doesn't have all the hoopla of commercialism. Plus it is one of the longest running rivalries between teams in the history of football.

Actually, the presale is at 10:00 am, the tickets go on sale to the general public at 2:00 pm. I don't know how many will be left, but I know that I will be trying for a pair :thumbsup2.

Yup, tickets go on sale to general public at 2pm. :)

I told DH that as much as I love him (and would love to see him go to the game) I'm not paying $9,000 for a ticket. :rotfl:

Though I think they start around $400 or $500, and go up from there.

Last time the Packers played the Bears in the Championship game (in 1941, exactly one week after Pear Harbor) tickets were $1.65 (which they said would be equal to $25 today).

But if you adjust what the players were getting back then to today, I don't think that it would come close to the MILLIONS of dollars that the players today are getting.

You are right ~ not even close. Most of the football players had "real" jobs to support their families at that time. :)

I saw something on our local news that the tickets were starting at about $150 each for nosebleed seats. I would probably pay up to $250 each to freeze my butt off at the game :rotfl:. But, like you, $400 is too rich for my (thin) blood.

Maybe I'm thinking of tickets on StubHub, which are outrageous. I think there are going to be some disappointed people that they weren't able to sell their tickets for $10,000.:rotfl:

Yeah I tried but I didn't select "any price" because I didn't want to pay $500 and there were too many price ranges to choose from. Oh well. We'll watch from one of the local sports places like BW3.

Bears fan in SoCal. There is no way I can handle watching it. My favorite place to see the games would be fun. But except one exception all season, they have lost when i have gone. So for all Bears fans, I am taking one for all fans and staying away from there. I think it might be a good Disneyland day for me!

GO BEARS!

I'll be there too, but only because I promised my DD that I would take her and this is the only weekend that I can for the next two months. I will have my DVR on and will try my best not to find out the results while I am there.

I was just going to ask if you managed to get any tickets.
How can tickets sell out in one minute.

You would think the Ticket Master web page would crash.
They probably sold the tickets to some company that is going to make a ton of money in the next few days.

I tried too and it wouldn't even let me check more than 2 tickets. I knew there was a 4 limit, but it wasn't even allowed. I then got to the page with the code & then it kept refreshing itself and saying 2 min, 1 min, etc....until finally no tickets available. (I picked any price) all this happened in only about 1 minute.

Oh well, I really needed 3 tickets. How do I pick one child over the other?

GO PACK GO!!

I'm a Bears fan in Oregon! Somehow I raised a Packers fan! :lmao: I'm praying the Bears WIN!!:cheer2::cheer2:

Did you say your buying , What is you address i will bring the chips and dips.
