We're going to be in the mountains for the week leading up to Christmas, and it's probably going to be pretty cold. I've almost talked myself into buying some Bearpaws. I wear a size 10.5 to 11 shoe. Since the boots are lined, should I order a larger size? Thanks!

ETA: If you have some, are they heavy and are the soles as bulky as they look? TIA!

I think it might depend on the boot. I ordered 2 different styles in a 10 from Amazon and one is perfect with room to spare when I'm wearing socks and the other I could barely fit my foot into w/o socks. I really think there was a sizing error on the too small one though as it was at least an inch smaller than the other style but no difference in the interior lining or sole.

It's was the knit one that was sized wrong so I'd say avoid those unless trying on in the store just to save yourself the hassle if they are really sized smaller than the other ones.

They are really lightweight though and don't weigh you down like workboot styles would.

My family got me some for my birthday and I found they ran pretty true to size. At first when I tried them on I was afraid that they ran small but after wearing them for just a short while(a few hours) I was glad they got the size they did. Any bigger would have felt like my feet were sliding around. And they are not heavy at all. So comfy....feels like I am wearing my slipper...love 'em!

I just ordered a pair for myself and DD. I ordered hers a size bigger since she hates tight boots, they fit almost snuggly. My regular size is 6 1/2 - 7 and mine were way too small, my toe was at the very end. I am going to return them and order another pair in an 8. The style we got was Eva 10" tall.

Thanks, everybody! I'm really glad to hear that they aren't heavy. They sound like they'll be perfect for me. :goodvibes

I tried the knit ones on in the store and they run really small!! I wear an 8 1/2 and I had on a 10 in those:eek:
