Whenever we are away from home DH goes into withdrawl symptoms from heinz beans on toast. I am aware that there are certain restrictions on bringing food into the US but does this include tinned processed food too?

You will probably be able to buy Heinz Beans there (UK style) probably in the Gourmet section of the grocery store. When I lived there (In Washington DC over 12 years ago) I could get them. In an area like Orlando, where 40% of the tourists are brits I imagine you will find you are catered for, might be a bit more expensive though.

However, when I lived there I used to buy US Heinz beans with bacon. Its not bacon as we know it but a bit of bacon fat, which gives flavour.

You'll have no problem with tinned food - the only issues they have are with fresh produce like fruit, vegetable and meat.

Winn Dixie at Formossa Gardens and the Publix the opposite side the 192 both sell Heinz beans. But!! When in Rome ;-))

You can also get Heinz at Goodings at cross roads & Kissimmee old town there is a shop full of overpriced british goods, including beans!

Wal-Mart on the 192 near the Flea Market also sell them in their international food section.
