We are planning to get the Kitchen sink. Has anyone had this sundae and what are we in for? Thanks!

We 4 adults are planning on having one in a week, too. Any advice?

I have never done it, but I have seen people do it. It is enormous...not sure how many scoops of ice cream and sauces etc. etc. I love how the ring the bell and announce its coming to the table..

"The Famous" Kitchen Sink - Eight scoops of ice cream served with all the toppings in the house and a whole can of whipped cream. - $21.99

We had the kitchen sink last December! :thumbsup2 Here is a video of our adventure...

You can tell by the end that we were stuffed! :rotfl: We had to 'walk it off' in Epcot World Showcase.

Have fun!

it has 24 scoops of ice cream and includes every topping they have! enjoy! :teeth:

We had the kitchen sink in dec 2004, it was HUGE lol. We shared it, there were about 7 of us... I would say it wasn't quite enough for 7 college kids, :lmao: but close enough. It comes with tons of toppings like oreos, sprinkles.. its been too long, I don't remember... I do remember it was pretty melted though. :confused3 It was good and you'll enjoy the experience, don't forget your camera! :goodvibes

We've ordered them on a few trips now. They are huge but oh so yummy! You can also ask to ahve certain flavors substituted. We don't like coffee flvored ice cream so subbed for strawberry. We have eaten it with only 3 adults and ahve come close to finishing on many occassions. The last time we tackled it we had 4 adults, 13 yo, and a toddler. Finshed it!!!! But you need to be quick or else you'll be sipping it with straws, got a great pic of my dad drinking from his bowl:rotfl:

Thanks for all the info. I'm looking forward to it. We will have 6 adults, so hopefully we can but it down. (And not get sick  )

My advice, eat it quickly, and turn the sink a quarter turn every few minutes so everyone can get a different flavor/ taste!

It costs $21.99 and it's actually cheaper to get than 3 signature sundaes:cool1:

FANTASTIC video!! Thanks for sharing.

It really is not a bad deal either. It probably costs more for 4 people having sundaes at Ben & Jerry's or Cold Stone. I hope I don't get too embarrassed when they bring it out!!

We did it with 4 of us, too much candy in it for me, rather have more ice cream.

Beaches & Cream does not take ADRs. The longest I've had to wait is about 20 minutes.

The Kitchen Sink is 8 scoops of ice cream--two vanilla, two chocolate, two strawberry, and one each of coffee and mint chocolate chip. It has brownie, pound cake, cookies, bananas, strawberry topping, peanut butter, marshmellow, fudge, a whole can of whipped cream, toasted almonds, and about two dozen cherries.

I've only had it with three other people, and at $22, it's not a bad price for four. We usually substitute another scoop of coffee for the mint and leave off the almonds.

ITA with byoung - too much topping and too little ice cream - yes, 8 scoops.

We finally tried it for breakfast as soon as Beaches and Cream opened after we had checked out of YC and were moving to WL last summer. The took the picture for us and the kids got to go behind the counter and add all the toppings.

So it was yukky after a few minures, as PP have indicated - but definitely I think EVERYONE should try the Kitchen Sink just once!!!

It was great! :cool1: There were 7 of us (4 children 13 - 5). My DH found out that if there isn't enough of a certain kind of topping :scared1: they will bring you an extra dish of your favorite. We almost finished it:banana: , but my mom didn't have any and we ordered onion rings before.:woohoo:
Try it!!!:cheer2: :cheer2:
