Beaches 'n Cream -- Can you do takeout?

We are planning to eat at Beaches 'n Cream one evening while we're at WDW. I've been reading on this board about how crowded it can get there during peak hours. We'll try to avoid the peak hours, but since we're going during a busy time (Easter week), can we do take out from there? It seems that it would be quite nice to sit outside and enjoy the meal.

Yes they do. We had turkey wraps to go before the Illuminations. There is a nice area to sit in outside. I have to say the wraps were horrible and I have since read a few posts saying the same. Youre probably best sticking to what they do best.

we're not going to order their wraps then -- thanks for the warning! as for the kitchen sink, i don't know if we'll be able to accomplish such a great creation. i don't think we're kitchen sink material!

Take out is a lot more limited than the regular menu. I have to agree that the wraps were horrible! I also don't think they do anything that needs to be grilled, i.e. hamburgers, in the take out line.

oh no!!! but aren't the burgers what they're well known for, as well as the onion rings??? can anyone out there tell me what is on their take-out menu??? i've been telling my DH about their burgers and onion rings and he's been looking forward to this hi-cal/hi-cholesterol treat...would hate to let him down at this point in our countdown to WDW (17 more days!!!).

We've ordered a cheeseburger for takeout several times for our son with the last time being a week ago yesterday.

We ordered sundaes from the takeout window a few years ago, and I highly recommend them! IMO, ice cream is what B&C does best, and it would be a shame to go there without ordering some.

Thanks for confirming that you can order from takeout a burger. And I don't think I can be in WDW and not do sundaes. My 2 DDs would never forgive me. I'm getting hungry just thinking about all this!!!

Sorry for the misinformation!! That's really interesting. When we went in December, we got the yucky wraps b/c we couldn't get grilled stuff at the take out window. Did they change it recently? DId they just tell us we couldn't get grilled stuff b/c it was so busy?

B & C is one of our absolute faves!!! When we stayed at the BCV in October 2003, we got burgers to go at the take out counter and ate in our room. I must admit though, they weren't nearly as good as they are when you sit down in the restaurant.

I have to agree with the poster above. While staying at YC during November we got take out one night and ate in one day. We were able to get burgers and onion rings from take out but they were MUCH more enjoyable and fresh when we ate in the restaurant.

We've done veggie burger take-outs and eaten by SAB. It can get crowded in that small area where you order takeout, so be careful of the time you set out for that meal!

Thanks again all for your responses! I think I'm resigned to the fact that no matter what we do, where and when we go to Beaches 'n Cream, it's going to be crowded. We're going Easter week.

Stimpy: It's too bad you had to eat their wraps. (Hopefully, you'll get to try a burger the next time!) Thanks for the warning about them though.

Its been years but I stayed at the BC and i remember going into B&C and getting a rootbeer float to go YUMMY!
