Hi everyone,

First, thanks to all for the wonderful information on these boards - what would I do without them?!

Second, I'm taking my kids (4 & 10) on a quick Disney getaway this weekend and would love to try Beaches & Cream. I've heard of the "famous" Kitchen Sink, but can I get more details about the food itself please?

One thing that appeals to me is I've read they have counter service, which my 4yo is into BIG TIME! She thinks it the coolest thing to sit at the counter! Since we'll probably do lunch here rather than dinner, do you think that space at the counter will be an issue? With the golf tournament this weekend I know the parks might be crowded, but hopefully we can hit B&C at the right time.

Thanks in advance for your help!

They have great burgers, fries and onion rings. We also liked their muffins in the morning.

I would suggest eating light if you plan on having the Kitchen Sink. Try a bowl of chicken soup or a grilled cheese. If you want a burger share it with one of the kids.
The Kitchen Sink is a hoot! Enjoy it!

This is what their menu has

Grilled Prime Rib Sub
Chicken sandwich
Turkey Sandwich
Veggie burger
Hot dog
of course hamburgers
Caesar salad
Onion Rings
Chili
Fries
Chicken Noodle soup

Kids menu - served with fries or seasonal fruit and dessert of the day.

Hot dog
mini cheeseburger
Grilled cheese

Of course lots and lots of goodies like shakes, sundaes, smoothies, fountain sodas, etc

We ate at B&C last week with our Connections vouchers. (I will be posting more about this separately.) Anyway, the food was wonderful and the portions were huge!! Definately share. We had two meals which were easily shared by 4 people. We ordered the Prime Rib Sub with onion rings. It was very large, don't know if it was a foot long, but more than 6 in. for sure. Also, DH and DS had the Double Cheeseburger, also huge! And very good. I think the burger is 1/2 pound? We were very impressed with the food and the service. We did order the kitchen sink and did not even come close to finishing it. We won't order it again until our DD (now 11 mos.) is old enough to be wowed by it and remember it. That's why we ordered this time to WOW our 4 yr. old DS. BTW, I am not including the 11 mo. old in the 4 people sharing, my Mom was with us too. Enjoy!

We hit B&C three times last week on vouchers and were able to split everything. This is what we got:
Trip 1 - Prime Rib sub (my favorite), fries, an extra order of onion rings, a cherry coke, root beer, and the No Way Jose (excellent!!). We paid extra for the rings and root beer, and we realized half-way through we had WAY too much food for two people.
Trip 2 - Double hamburger with onion rings, chicken soup, same drinks and strawberry shortcake.
Trip 3 - Same as trip 2 but with a peanut butter and hot fudge sundae for dessert.
First time I ever went, someone in my party ordered the Kitchen Sink for his dessert. Needless to say, with one person, he had quite a stomach ache that night.

We NEVER MISS beaches n cream... they have great food! I can honestly say that I have tried everything on there menu and haven't disliked a thing. They have a shake there called the Sunshine or the Sunrise... I don't know something to do with the sun. Anyways it is orange sherbet, Vanilla Ice cream, sprite with whipped cream and candy oranges on top MMMMMMMM this is so good!!! You have got to go it is well worth it!!!

Ok, after reading the menu choices and drooling over my keyboard, I've decided to go to Beaches & Cream for lunch. Do we need to make PS Reservations?? or would we be safe in just walking in?

Can't make a PS there. Just walk in and WAIT! That sunshine thing is pretty good, kind of refreshing. The No Way Jose is my all time favorite thing. The kitchen sink makes for a nice photo but tastes pretty disgusting, IMO. The No Way Jose has fudge and peanut butter topping. Can it get any better than that?

Just reading everyone's comments is making my mouth water. We missed Beaches and Cream on our last trip in March. We're going back on 11/2 and its definitely on our list for this time around. It has been one of our favorite stops since it opened.

After reading the great reviews & obtaining Q&C vouchers, we are going to try it in 19 days!! What are the hours that Beaches & Cream is open? Thank you in advance!

I wasn't sure... I couldn't find anywhere that they have PS, but I wanted to make sure, before I went over and found out they were completely booked....

I don't mind waiting and that way I can look around the resort too. Never been there, but looking forward to it!

Thanks for your help!

Just a word of caution...avoid the place when parks let out, especially EPCOT and MGM, the two closest parks to the Beach Club. We waited 30 minutes for a seat one night after EPCOT. But other than that, we've always been seated right away.

After all this talk of the wonderful food at Beaches and Cream I'm more determined than ever that we will make it there this trip!

Thanks again!

We have eaten at Beaches and Cream several times on our trips. We eat early dinners, usually around 5 and have never had to wait . The food is excellent!!!!!!!! Dh swears by the burgers, and I just loved the hot dog I had on our last trip. We love it there.

I have been thinking of eating here before our illuminations cruise. Now my mind is made up. I would like to eat a bit early so we have time to let our stomachs settle before getting on the boat. I am so excited to try this place. It really sounds like our kind of meal. Not to fancy but a little nicer than the fast food.

This is one place on the permanent do not miss list. Some things to remember about beaches & cream: #1) There are no PS. It's a first come, first serve kind of place..also, it has very limited seating capacity, so timing can be critical if you don't want to wait a while. try going at "off times" to avoid a long wait. they give you a pager that goes off when your table is ready. #2) the portions are huge! keep this in mind when ordering...everything can pretty well be split by at least two or three people. #3) this is the best place on property to use the connections Q&C meal vouchers.

Me and my family went in May 2000 and ate at Beaches and Cream. Although we had wanted at a table or a booth, there was no room, only at counter and there were 8 of us (all adults). So we all ate at the counter and it was the best time and definitely the best food the whole 10 days of our trip! We had heard about it because my sister worked at WDW through the college program the year before and she and her roommates (also cast members) would go there all the time.
