Beaches & Cream "?"

If we wanted to go to Beaches & Cream just for ice cream, what would be a good time to go to avoid the lunch crowds?

Probably leave it to late afternoon - but they do have a take out where we got ice-cream 'to go'.

I read somewhere on another thread that they won't let you come in and sit down if you're just getting ice cream. Don't know if that's true or not...just what I read. They do have a "to-go" window I think for ice cream treats.

Last May when I took my grandson, we stayed at BCV and they did let us go inside just to have icecream.

This is what we were thinking, too! But there is no way we could eat it after eating a big lunch. We were going to eat a light lunch and then go here for a late afternoon snack. We made adr's for dessert at SCI-FI, too! We wanted to see the restaurant but nothing on the menu appealed to our oldest DD. AND Since we can't go during free dining ( grrrrr!) we will be mostly splittting counter service to save money, and this was the only way we could figure out how to visit some places with out having to pay for a full meal.

Hey all I was just wondering. Deos anyone know if you can get "the kitchen sink" on the DDP?
My son wants one so bad.

I dont think so, I believe it is about $22.00.
We saw it a couple of months ago on the travel channel's great hotels.

US too. We are going to be on the dining plan and have 1 day with no ADR's and will be eating offsite for dinner(hopefully early) and then plan to hop over for the kitchen sink. Yes, we know how much it is and yes we know we will never finish it ...ordering things like this make fun memories for your kid (and parents,too) besides this is what you are suppose to do on Vacation. We sure will have fun trying to eat it!!
