Beaches and creme and hazelnut allergy

Hi there!
My son is only allergic to hazelnuts. He was tested for all other nuts and peanuts and can eat those no problem. I was just wondering if anyone knows if Beaches and Cream serve hazelnut ice cream or hazelnut spread (Nutella)? I really wanted to bring my son there for lunch but do not want to take the risk if there is hazelnuts served there. I only see peanut butter items on menu which is not a problem for him. Disney always has accommodated our food allergy needs but I don't want to push our luck by going to a ice cream parlour filled with hazelnut
Anyone been there with nut allergies? Thanks

If they can handle keeping peanuts away from the PN free people, they will be able to handle keeping tree nuts away. Even though the other nuts are ok, I would just say "no tree nuts" so you don't run into a hazelnut by accident.

DD has a SEVERE cashew allergy and I just really watch the menus. I think with the amount of peanut allergies, most places try to keep some of the equipment nut free. I am not sure when you will be there, but we will be at the YC in September and are hoping for an afternoon at Beaches and Cream, I will be more than happy to see what I can find out about how they handle the nut allergies.

As a side note, DD is ONLY allergic to cashews, can have all other tree nuts and peanuts. Crazy how they can be so allergic to one type of nut.

I know, so strange! I am allergic to the spice: anise. The allergists think that is even stranger! Why star anise of all things? I am going second week of Dec. That would be so great of you! Thank you for offering. I don't think you should have too many problems with cashews there. I'll call special diets this week and post my findings here. I went to wdw last Sept. It is such a great time of year to visit! Have a great trip, allergy free!
