Beaches and Cream

Hi, I'm going to book beaches and cream for lunch when we are there in november/december. There will be 6 of us, myself, my husband, my 2 daughters 4 & 2 & grandma & Grandad.

Would the kitchen sink be filling enough for the the 6 of us for lunch, or should we order entrees as well. We are on the dining plan, but don't mind paying OOP.

Oh yeah, you might not be able to finish it. The adults may want a light snack too. My family, two adults and four kids, have never eaten the whole kitchen sink.

The thing about the kitchen sink is it's super filling at the time but it's ice cream so not the most nourishing food. lol. We did it for dinner in December but did end up getting actual food over at Epcot a little while later. If we did it again, I would get even just some french fries or something small to split before diving in.

I'd probably get an app or a side to go with it. As you eat the kitchen sink, it begins to melt into a pool of mess and eventually becomes inedible to me. It's basically soup. So even if you think you all can finish it, at some point you may not want it after it melts.

I tried to do the kitchen sink for lunch on day, but my rule-follower child wanted real food instead! Hrmpph. My plan was to do the kitchen sink for lunch then we could get a hearty snack later if we needed something more substantial.

My daughter wanted us to have the kitchen sink on our trip last week. Had midafternoon reservations. With just 4 of us (all adults), I had no interest in any entrée for a while after that.

We had 8 people eating the kitchen sink. They were quite stuffed after eating their share. We did it as a mid-afternoon snack. No entrees or apps, just dessert.

Oh yeah... PLENTY of food. Prepare to feel completely full...with whipped cream coming out of your ears!!

I would order some kind of app or meal to split but the kitchen sink is definitely filling enough for six. Just very sweet!
