Hi,
I see that you cannot make priority seating at Beaches and Cream. I realize this is a very casual little restaurant, but I was wondering if this gets crowded or if there is a chance I could be waiting a long time for a table? Has anyone waited long or gotten turned away?

thanks:thumbsup2

Its a very small place and yes during meal times it can get very busy. Lunch, Dinner and after Illuminations.

They will not turn you away but have have read of 1+ hour wait times.

I have also read the best time is when they open at 11:00 AM.

Yes you can wait if there are no tables, we have had to wait about 30 mins before. We were also turned away one night, they already had people waiting and I guess they figured there wasn't enough time until they closed. That night we just grabbed some sandwiches in the marketplace.

We love B&C- its a must on all of our trips (we've been 3 times on one trip in the past, but that was before they changed their burgers.) We used to be ok going around 4:30 for dinner w/o a wait. Now we go for lunch since we usually pay OOP and like to use our TS credits for dinner. We get there at 10:45. Once (Oct 09) we got to be family of the day  not sure if they still do that. During prime meal times, the wait can be long!

The longest I've waited was about 20 minutes. But we try to eat at more off times, either a late lunch or early dinner. The place is very small, just guessing I would say ten or so tables and a counter with about twelve chairs. So at busy times theres just not much room, so there can be long waits.

Can be a long wait to put it mildly:worship:

I stay at the BC/BCv alot and I have seen waits over an hour sometimes. If you get there at opening, you will have the least( if any) wait.Traditional mealtimes and after Illuminations and this place gets very crowded, very quickly. It's a small place with only a few tables. They do have a takeout area, but there is no food(like burgers etc) nor is the signature sundaes( No way Jose etc) served thru the takeout area.Only simple shakes, sodas and ice cream bars are available .

We had this happen to us in Aug. We had to wait about 20 mins or so for them to open up and then when we went in they had lights flashing and they all started clapping. It was an unexpected surprise! :thumbsup2

B&C gets packed due to it being very small. Best bet...go around 7p for dessert and get the brownie sundae....WOW...so good.

or the Kitchen Sink...if you dare.

This past August when my family and I went there around 9:30 PM we had about a 20 - 25 minute wait. However when we went there for a second time this past December at 8:30 PM we were able to get a table right away. So sometimes it's luck of the draw and a 50/50 chance that you will be seated right away or need to wait for a table. Finally since they don't accept ADR's you can't be turned away, assuming you don't mind waiting for a table.

It did happen to us one night, we were flat turned down for the night. So it could happen, but maybe not very often?

The operative word about B&C is "little." There are only three large booths and about seven or eight tables (which fit four but can be put together for larger parties). There is a good amount of counter seating, which you have a better chance at, but most of the posters here are not willing to accept counter seating (they have small kids, etc.)

Yes, if you show up at a peak eating time, you will probably have to wait. This is the smallest restaurant on WDW property. A couple of times I've been turned away entirely (as only a party of one), so I cannot say that they never turn people away, because they do. You are much better off going at non-peak times, and avoiding the period right after Illuminations ends.

I went with three friends for after-dinner dessert once around 9:15 (just before the end of Illuminations). We had to wait 45 minutes. We were not too concerned as we had already had dinner - we camped out at a table outside and talked.

We have gone twice at about 2pm. Waited only about 5 minutes one time and sat right down the other. This was during President's week both times. We used this as our late lunch/dinner and just ate some snacks that night at the park.

if you plan for an early lunch at 11am, right when they open, you won't have any problem getting in. we've done this every time and it's wonderful.

What fun! What exactly does it mean to be "Family of the Day" -- besides flashing lights and clapping? :wizard::confused3
