Beaches and Cream?

I know it is on the DP, but is it considered a quick service?
What type or desserts are included in the DP there?

But I don't think Beaches & Cream is on the Dining Plan. It is an amazing and fun restaurant though. We had lunch there on our last trip. Delicious burgers and my husband and 11-year old son each had one of the gargantuan sundaes that were a dininig experience in themselves! They have different ice cream concoctions, sundaes, floats, the kitchen sink, all kinds of yummy things. It is very small though with maybe a dozen tables and you can't make reservations (I don't think) so be prepared to wait a while (of if you go for a late lunch like we did you'd probably have less time to wait).

The interior is like a 60's "malt shop" with big comfy bench seats, juke boxes, and neat decorating. My kids loved it! And the food was terrific in our opinion. Not a huge variety but delicious!

B&C *IS* on the DDP but it is not QS...

We arrive on Saturday and we'll be starving b/c we have an early flight- I was looking for someplace close to the Beach Club (were we are staying)quick/fun/ and on the DP.... Hurricane Hanna's?

Yes, it's a TS. On the order counter side, you can get a few items for a snack credit. But, since a waiter takes your order and brings you your food, it's a TS. We just paid OOP and got some desserts.

Hurricane Hannah's might be a good option. I'm told they make the same burgers as you get in B&C, but I don't know that for certain. You can sit poolside and eat lunch if you do HH and then you're done and ready to go.

HH is pretty good as far as counter service goes. I had a chicken wrap there that I really enjoyed, and the kids loved that the kids' meals come in sand pails that they could use later in the "beach" part of the pool. The Beach Club Marketplace also has good sandwiches and a make-your-own salad option.
