I just saw pictures of the sundaes that can be ordered there. And of course I need to go there. I read on that you can get your icecream to go. How do you do that? Especially for the Kitchen Sink sundae? Do you eat outside and then bring the dishes back? Is there much of wait when you arrive?

Any info would be appreciated.

There's a separate entrance for to-go orders, but I'm pretty sure only certain things can be ordered to go, and the kitchen sink isn't one of them. Food also can't be ordered to go.

Waits can get *quite* long as the restaurant is very popular and very small. Get there at an off time to avoid a really long wait. You can either eat inside at a table or at the bar. If you get your order to go, you can sit at one of the tables outside.

Beaches and Cream is one of our favorite places; you'll love it!!

Beaches and Cream's "to go" menu is limited to things like floats and shakes -you can't get the Kitchen Sink or any of the more involved desserts (the No Way Jose ... pardon me while I wipe the drool from my keyboard ...) to go.

Is it Counter Service or a Table Service on the Dining Plan? Also can the desserts count as a snack credit? Wishful thinking!

It's a table service credit, which in my opinion is a waste of credits. The prices aren't that bad here, so I would suggest paying out of pocket.

The to go window is extremely limited.all the best desserts require a table. Also, none of the food on the menu is available to go. It is an extremely small restaurant that does not take ADrs and is perpetually busy.It is also a TS credit on the Dp ( not exactly a good choice of credit usage)Ice cream can not be used as a snack credit either. The food is good, not worth the real long waits and not worth the TS credit imho.I pay oop .

We went on Saturday March 22nd for the first time, and we really enjoyed it. We didn't wait past opening time for a table, but sat right down at 11am. By 11:45 am it was full and there were parties waiting for a table outside.

We paid OOP, each got a burger/chicken sandwich with either fries or onion rings, and ordered the kitchen sink for dessert. (Kitchen sink is not a dessert with the DDP as mentioned previously)

We were a party of 4 Adults, 1 Child and 1 Infant - our total bill with sandwiches, sodas, gratuity, and the kitchen sink was $80.29, without the DDE it would have been $95.85. Of that $73.86 would have been covered by the DDP and would have cost us 4 Adult TS Credits and 1 Child TS Credit.

Is that new? I got the No Way Jose to go a couple of years ago. I aws looking forward to doing this on our October trip.

The same ice cream can be gotten in cones from Seashore Sweets at the Boardwalk - not the sundaes, but if you need a quick cone. After Illuminations, both places are packed, though.

yes it is new to have a shorter "to go" menu. They cut it back last year.

Pricewise it's not worth the 1 TS but definitely go, pay out of pocket like people suggested, and use it as an excuse to have a 2 TS meal another night.

It sometimes is a long wait, but I still suggest trying it out. We have been a couple of times and enjoyed it each time. We always get the kitchen sink. As far as memories go, my kids still remember that dessert 10 years later as one of their favorite Disney moments. I suggest taking a before and after photo, and splitting a burger so you will have room for the dessert. Enjoy!
