I just looked at the menu and at the list of what restaurants are TS and CS meals and the menu at Beaches and Cream seems like it would be more of a CS meal than a TS. I also heard that they do not take ADR's. Do you think it is worth a TS credit to eat at Beaches and Cream?

What do you think?

We were on the dining plan last October and we went to Beaches and Cream. I paid OOP for this meal, mostly because I wanted to save our TS credits for a more expensive restaurant, like Le Cellier or a character breakfast. Look at the menus on http://allearsnet.com/ and see what you might order and what the cost is and then decide it if's worth it for you and your family.

Is Beaches & Cream worth a TS credit on the dining plan? I'd say not because it is so reasonably priced! But it IS a table service restaurant in all respects. There are servers who hand you menus, take your order at your table, and deliver the food to your table. It is definitely not counter service, where you walk up to a cash register, pay for your pre-cooked food, and carry it to your table.

JMHO I do not think B&C is worth using up a TS. Use a CS for a hamburger & just pay OOP for icecream at B&C. Their sundaes are huge & it's more than enough to share.

I wouldn't recommend using B & C for a TS credit for the above mentioned reasons and also because I had one of the worst burgers of my life at B & C. That, along with the rude waitress we had, made for an unpleasant dining experience. Ice cream is what they're good at. I'd stick with that and save your TS for some place else. :)

I know I'm in the minority on this one, but we used several credits here & have no regrets. We used add-ons and substituted onion rings, and one meal was more than enough to share for lunch. Of course, we left an extra tip. The combined totals of those meals came out to be average for what most of our other TS meals would have cost, with the exception of Coral Reef & Concourse - our two more expensive meals.

This is our 1st trip to DW and DH & I already decided this is an OOP meal. We cannot see using our TS for a $15-20 meal. We are also OOP for our breakfast at Kona. We want to save our TS for more expensive meals.
