We are staying at BC. If weather permits, we are planning a day just to stay around our resort and enjoy the pool, etc. We have reservations for Cape May breakfast but were thinking of ordering from Hurricane Hannah's for Dinner. What is your opinion on the food at Hurricane Hannahs? Have also thought about getting dessert at Beaches and Cream -maybe mid afternoon. Has anyone gone to beaches and cream and sat at a table and just ordered desert?

I don't typically consider Hurricane Hanna's a legitimate dinner option, but I suppose there's no reason it couldn't serve that purpose. It's a fine poolside grill, perfect for when you're lounging by the water, but dinner? I usually look for something a bit more substantial and organized, especially on vacation.

If you're planning on trying Beaches & Cream for dessert, why not have dinner there, too? It's not expensive by Disney's standards, and at least you'll be sitting at a table during dinner.

Otherwise, I have been to Beaches & Cream for ice cream only plenty of times.

Hurricane hannah's is your usuall fast food at wdw. Typical menu. B&C really depends on how crowded it is. People definately go in there for ice cream, but if its packed, you might now want to wait for that. There is a take out area thou, and seating outside at some small tables as an option.

I completely agree. Hurricane Hanna's serves ok food; however it's nothing spectacular. Beaches & Cream serves way better dinner items in my opinion, but many people to go there for dessert only.

Hurricane Hannahs is more of a place to get drinks..very light on the food side. Beaches & Creme is small so table fill easily, on a first come-first served basis, but it is open from 11am to 11pm. If you are hanging out at the resort it is a lot easier to spend your time until a table is available. I would recommend Beaches over Hurricane for food, but people have to get a table to get the main ice creme offerings, as the walk-up area serves only limited ice cream snack offerings. Captain's Grill within the YC, from what I have observed, has a lot of open tables in comparison to other TS restaurants in the area.

Hurricane Hannah's serves the same burgers as B&C these days. There are a few tables near the counter and servers will bring your food to your chaise if you prefer last I knew.

If you want elaborate ice cream creations, then B&C is your spot. But for burgers, we usually prefer HH these days. Faster and just the same....also a QS credit if on the DDP. Plus one can order to go. That is no longer an option at B&C for food.

I agree that Captain's Grille is a great option.

We've done both these places plenty of times!

Hurricane Hannah's has a small variety of food, but some pretty munchie food that is nice to enjoy poolside (especially accompanied with a drink lol).

We have definitely just had ice cream outside of Beaches and Cream. Their ice cream concoctions are DELISH!!! (No Way Jose = AMAZING!) You can even grab a table at the pool or just enjoy your ice cream on a lounge chair!

What we love about the BC is going down to Beaches and Cream near closing time, when we are all pooped from a long day at the world, and grabbing an ice cream late at night. (Also the gelato at the marketplace is decent too)

I'd do the meal and the dessert at Beaches and Cream. You can go for just the ice cream though.

We've done both. HH is great for a quick meal at the pool, the food is the same as most of the other quick service places. It gets the job done, but it's not memorable.

The desserts at B&C are so good!! If it's the great dessert you want, go to B&C!!
