Beach towels

I did a search to see what the consensus was and I think it is pretty well split. So I will ask again providing a little detail as to our plan. It is DH, me, DD12, and DD9 going. We will be staying at AKL and WL from 7/25-8/04. We plan on using the pool and having a day we go to the beach. I love the big towels, especially at the beach. Should I pack towels for us to take with us or should i just use the ones at the hotel? Or do I only pack 2 big ones and let the girls use the ones from the hotel since they will be in the water most of the time?

I always take our own beach towels. I pick out our oldest, most threadbare. That way if they should get stolen (they never have), I won't be upset and they don't take up a lot of room in the suitcases.

We always bring our Disney beach towels to the water parks, but we use the pool towels at the pool.
