Beach Towels?

Does anyone know if the Water Parks have Towels to use while you are there or do you have to take your own beach towels?

I'm trying to make room in our suitcases if possible.

Also, we are staying at POR and I am wondering if the pool has an area there to take towels to use at the pool.

The pools had towels. I don't think the water parks had loaners, but I think you could BUY Disney ones in the gift shop - save suitcase space going, counts as a souvenier coming home?

You have to rent towels at the water parks if you don't bring your own. They are really cheap though - I think either $1 or $2.

We usually rent at the water parks but have occasionally taken pool towels from the resort to the water parks - with permission. I have inqured at POFQ and the Dolphin and both resorts have told me its fine to bring the resort towels to the water parks but to please return them to the pool area rather than leaving them in the room. All the resort pool will provide towels so we never bring beach towels with us.

However, we always bring one home

OT - but a standing tradition of ours is to buy a new beach towel at MGM on our Fantasmic evening. Just prior to heading to Fantasmic my 2 dd's agree on one beach towel and we use it to sit on at Fantasmic. Its a great cushion, saves just enough space for the 3 of us and gives us great memories of WDW and Fantasmic

I was just at Typhoon Lagoon last week! We asked that question to the concierge just before we left and they told us it was OK to bring towels from our room if we wanted to. We had brought some from home anyway. They told us towels were available to rent for a few dollars if we needed any extras once we got there.
