We will be staying onsite for the first time next month. Are beach towels provided for the pools, or should I bring my own from home? I am a big girl and do not want to try to cover up with flimsy bath towels  . Thanks!

Yes. There are towels located at the pool to use.

As I recall, they aren't beach towel size - aren't they normal bath towel size? Could be wrong on this - anyone else want to chime in??

They are beach size towels
they are located at the Quit pool only
so you will need to stop by there first if you are going to the volcano pool or Beach (Seven Seas Lagoon)-- you can not swim in the Lagooon though.
BTW great choice you will love the POLY

I'd call them large bath towel sized -- not beach towel sized. Plenty big enough to not hassle with your own towels from home.

I think they are the same size as the ones you get in your room. I like to bring my own ( I put it in a packmate so it doesn't take up space) because its softer and bigger.

Thanks! I didn't have a say in it though- I won the trip in a contest and we were automatically put in the Poly! It was my dream resort though, where I wanted to stay in case I ever won the lottery and could afford it :rotfl: . I have not been able to get any info on what view the room is or what longhouse it's in, so that part will be a surprise!

Congrats on winning the trip! (Wish it were me!) Any view/longhouse at the Poly is great. I am a large girl, and the pool towels are not a good size for me. We always bring a beach towel for each person to use at the pool and at the water parks...don't want to have to rent a towel theree.

all the views are nice....
you can request a Lagoon view by faxing 4-5 days before you arrive to 407-824-3174 ATT; CRO you need to include your arrival date and reservation number and name and a nice note.
we bought DVC and miss the POLY.....
you can sometimes get a discounted rate if you book the room only through the main number.
enjoy :bounce:

HAVE A GREAT TIME!

P.S. I WOULD PACK YOUR OWN TOWELS, I FIND THE TOWELS PROVIDED AT THE RESORTS TO BE SCRATCHY!

ALTHOUGH, THEY CAN DOUBLE AS A :rotfl2: LOOFAH!
