We are staying at OKW in Sept, (purchased someones points here off the boards) and was hoping to save some space in the suitcase by not having to pack beach towels. My question is do the resorts have towels by the pools that we can use? I realize that they aren't always the best things but would prefer to use my space more wisely. Don't want to spend money down there buying them either when I have some really nice ones already. Would appreciate any of your feedback on this issue. Thanks a bunch!!!!

I can't speak for the water parks but the resort pools provide towels.

I would take mine. If I remember the towels at the pools are only regular size, but they do have towels. I really like to have my big beach towel at the pool or water parks.

you can hire towels at the disney water parks if thats any help, we do this each time so that we can park hop and not have to carry towels around with us (we were staying off site at the time though). Also i cant remember the cost - sorry:D

All the resorts we've stayed at provide towels at the pool area. It sure beats using half of a suitcase for towels.
They aren't provided at the water parks, but you can rent them.

I am debating this question myself. I have them in the suitcase, but am starting to consider taking them out. I did pack some of our smaller beach towels, not the big thick ones, and just 1 per person. Does anyone remember how much it is to rent towels at the water parks?

Just got back. The resort pools have towels (regular size) located near the pool area. The water parks have towels (regular size) for rent for $1.00/towel. It was worth the few extra dollars to us not to have to pack the beach towels. Also didn't have to worry about someone taking the towels off the chairs while we were enjoying the water park.

2 things I never leave home without is my pillows & my beach towels. I just love the feel of my own not to mention the larger size. But I do understand if you need the room for other more important things. We always drive so room is not a problem.

Just got back on Sunday. Took a beach towel, never used it.
The only resort that did not provide towels was All-Star (stayed one night)
Coronado and Poly had them. I will not take one again
(although I would love to buy one down there - some really
beautiful ones, but priced at $20).

we took beach towels would not do it again, by the last few days the towels start to smell and are yucky feeling from the suntan lotion. we just took some of the resort towels when we went to blizzard beach. didn't want to lose ours.

We usually stay at the all star resorts and we always call and ask for extra towes
and they have always been good about bringing us extra towels.
