Beach Night help!

Our family is driving down to FL in Oct and hope to spend one night on the Atlantic beach somewhere north or directly east of Orlando. Any suggestions of towns/hotels? Any help would be appreciated!

Cocoa Beach is the closest beach to Orlando (528 is a direct shot). There are a number of hotels there. We've stayed at a privately owned one, but that does not do one night stays.

We also stayed at one of the larger chain resorts right on the beach. It was ok, nothing I'd recommend.

Four Seasons is directly connected to Ron Jon's and that might be fun...

Much will depend upon how much you want to spend, and if you want directly on the beach, or simply beach access.

Thanks for the info. We really just want to stay on the beach and have breakfast with the sunrise and relax before the Disney excitement. Do you recommend any hotel on the beach? What is Ron Jon's?
