Beach Cottage question!

7 of us will be in the BC and we have 3 Inn rooms for our other 6 guests. Will we all fit somewhat comfortably to have an informal meal or two in the BC?

I keep changing the menu...we have our anniversary and 2 birthdays to celebrate!

Are there 3 bathrooms? ...and they are all downstairs, right?

The 7 of us are my DS's family (2 adults and 3 DGC) and DH and myself. Our "fear" these days is that we will decide that a GV is the only way we want to "Go," when we 7 stay together! I know there are those that only take 1 bedrooms over studios...I can see my family insisting on GV's !

We have been looking at OKW resales just in case that happens!

PS. Regarding OKW resales. Will DVC let the '42 contracts stay, or will they "make" all of the '42's become the later expiring contracts?

You will definitely be spoiled! The upstairs is one (no bathrm) open room. There is a table that seats 8 and a breakfast counter with stools. Plus it opens directly onto the large deck to give even more space. If I remember correctly, there were 2 lounges and table with 4 chairs on deck. It is the perfect entertainment setup. 3 full baths downstairs. Have a wonderful celebration!

From what I've read your are likely doomed... or is that duned?

7 will be fine in a BC. 3 bedrooms downstairs - one with a king, and the other 2 have 2 doubles (or queens?) - the king in the center bedroom. Each have their own full bath, and the king room has a whirlpool.

You'll have no problem seating upto 10 at the big table in the upstairs dinning room - or you could take the table & chairs off the upper rear balcony, add them to the table & chairs on the upper front balcony and seat 8 for a meal comfortably.

We had 7 people when we stayed in the Beach Cottage and loved it! Here is the layout...

the Vero beach cottages are just awesome. We have stayed twice and are always sad to leave.

The upper level has a deck in front and back with four chairs and a table. There are also four loungers.

there is plenty of room in the living area. Large table, counter seats and overflow can eat on the couches using the coffee table. The four chairs from the deck can come in for extra seating.

This is the best venue for a relaxed family vacation. the pool, the ocean, the beach, mini golf, bar, restaurant....lots of space for everyone

Sounds like you have a great trip planned!

The dining table is big. If you are able to get enough chairs it should snuggly fit 10 and then the little ones could eat around the coffee table. There are also the 2 bar stools if they like them better (my DD6 did). There were 6 chairs around the table in our cottage and another at the small table near the stairs. I don't remember any extra desk/table type chairs in the bedrooms.
