Hi,
Just looking for opinions on beach club, never stayed in that area before
only at the poly and loved that.:woohoo:

We stayed at the YC and love everything about this resort, it is super quiet and very comfortable. We like the location and the great dining choices nearby. The BC is so loud and chaotic, not our cup of tea.

BC is our favorite resort!! I can't wait to stay there again!!! The decor is light and airy like a beach place should be. The location is wonderful. Being close to Epcot and DHS was the best!! We went to Epcot to try snacks at different countries each day since it took about 2 minutes to walk there. Walking over to the BW at night to see the activities was a lot of fun too. You can see the Epcot fireworks from the bridge between the Swan and BW. Cape May Cafe character breakfast was the best breakfast and the best character meal we had. We actually had it two days in a row since it was so awesome and DH and DS love breakfast!!! SAB is the best pool of all. It is just amazing and the slide is great. The marina was neat too. You can't not have a great time at BC when every time you walk in the door you are greeted by Art. He is the most wonderful man!!!

I hope you enjoy your stay!!!!

We also loved the BC. The pool area was great with our 2 & 3 yr olds last summer. And being that close to Epcot was also great. We just walked over many nights to eat. Even in saying how much we loved BC we are thinking at staying at a value next trip. Depending on the ages of your children. Ours will be 3 & 4 next trip and I just feel they will love the decorations at the values. We really didn't feel like we were in Disney until we stepped into a park staying at the BC. Looking at the pics of the values I think our kids at the ages they will be next trip will fall in love with the look of the values and feel like they are always in Disney. I just don't know if I will ;)

We stayed at BCV for the first time in October and we loved it. The area is so nice, with all the restaurants that are available at the 3 Epcot resorts...and walking thru the International Gateway to the park was so convenient. Part of the reason we chose BCV was the proximity to Epcot, I never feel like I get enough time at that park, especially at night. We couldn't get into BCV for our April trip, so we opted for BWV. Its going to be hard looking across at Stormalong Bay and not being able to use it!

I think you should go for it!

We love the BC!

Ditto to all of the things above! Also , I loved walking to Epcot in the morning and being greeted by characters at the International Gateway (usually the fairy godmother or the mice from Cinderella). They have also added movies and campfires on the beach since I was last there.

I have stayed at both the Poly and the BC and, don't tell my husband, but I like the BC more.

Has anyone walked to Epcot from the BC in august when it's really hot? How long do you think it would takes?

How about the last week of July? Yes, it is hot... no matter where you are. Our room was on the end closest to Epcot, as I had requested. It took us about 2 minutes to go though the security and be in the park. Also we could sit in our room with the glass door open and sit on the patio (bottom floor) and listen to the music from Epcot. It was awesome!!! It really depends on where your room is at BC. I could see it taking about 5-8 minutes. No matter how far the walk is, it was a great stay!!

It is a really nice walk along the waterway. The BC is a wonderful resort to stay at. I can't wait to go back!
