We have never stayed at the Beach Club before.

But we have a waterview room from 11/30-12/6 and I was wondering what the best location was?

DW and I had room number 1547 for our trip over Memorial Day. I have come to realize that at most WDW hotels, the first floor rooms, close to the pool, are the best because of the direct access to the pools. We had a hot tub right outside our patio door (which we used quite often), and a very short walk to Epcot. I must admit that the day we checked in, it seemed like an eternity from the front desk to the room, but it actually wasn't that bad a walk, and the convenience of the pool and the proximity to Epcot more than made up for any hassle we experienced from the long "lobby walk." Our view of the Boardwalk was also quite nice at night, and the proximity to that nightime action was another plus.

The Beach Club has rooms that have standing room-only balconies. So, if a full balcony is important to you, I'd note that on your requests with CRO. Also, many rooms can be quite far from the lobby. If you have young kids and that will be an issue, you may want to request that, too.

Have a great stay! :)

You might want to double check this but last year, we stayed in a 4th floor room in a section which had a completely unobstructed view of the lake, the Boardwalk and the entire resort area. The room stuck out at then end of a building, overlooking the beach and had not so much as a tree blocking our view. The bad thing about the room is that it only had one of the standing balconies. You could not sit out there with any charis, though we opened the door and placed two room chairs right at the doorway and had our coffee in the morning. If a view is worth more than anything, check and see if 4501 meets this description. Many water view rooms have obstructed views of the lake. In fact we moved from a junior suite which advertised a water view which was all but blocked by trees to get this view. Remember, it has a small balcony, but the view was absolutely spectacular.
