Our home DVC resort is BWV and this will be our first time at BCV. Any highlites we should try or stay away from. Thanks for the help....:coffee:

Chatting with Art is always a treat.

Give SAB a try while you are there. Otherwise, just enjoy the quiet, relaxed atmosphere.

Don't miss this:

The gelato in the BC Marketplace is awesome! Last I heard they'd discontinued my favorite flavor, pistachio, but the others are great too.

We will talk to Art and with three boys, we will eat.... Looks great! Thanks

Some of our favorites: eating at Beaches and Cream, swimming at SAB, son(14.5) loves the arcade which is next to Beaches and Cream. DH loves "chatting" with Art, as others have mentioned.;) I love the hot tubs even though we are always there in the summer!:rotfl: Hope you have a wonderful vacation, Enjoy!! It is a wonderful resort! :)

I like that the parking is close to the building (something you don't have at BWV). There is a door at the end of the building, or you can follow the sidewalk along the canal toward the door by the pool.

To get to the bus stops, I found it easier to cut through by the pool area than any other way. There's a sidewalk along the canal by the "dunes", then just cross the entrance driveway and follow the sidewalk to the right. You can't miss it.

I got lost the first time I went to BCV. When you go in, you enter a circular room with about six hallways leading off from it. Since the sign for the elevator had an up arrow, instead of a right arrow, I went down the wrong hall and ended up using the elevator by the pool. It's nice though, once you get the hang of it.

Some people complain about road noise if they have Epcot facing rooms. I travel with a white noise machine, so I don't notice it. I had a top floor 1BR in December and could see most of Wishes and Illuminations from the balcony (which was great during MVMCP fireworks). If you are sensitive to noise, or prefer a lower floor, you might want a pool or BC view.

You don't have to cut through BC to get to Epcot. There is a gazebo along the walkway between BC and BCV. If you go out the back of the gazebo and follow the sidewalk around, you'll come out at the closest point of BC to Epcot, where you can choose to either walk over the hill, or under the overpass, to International Gateway.

If you're booking a studio, they have the motion detector thermostats ( I didn't notice those in the 1BR). I tried all the hints on the DIS for overriding it and had to have maintenance come and do it.

That's all I can think of. It's a great resort and you'll have a wonderful vacation.
