Beach Club Villas - Rental Car

I was wondering how to find out what rental car agency is on DVC-WDW properties? I went on line to the actual agencies and could not find one that was actually on-site? Any links or ideas would be helpful. Thank you.

Alamo / National are the on site car rental agencies. There is a rental desk at the Dolphin - just a short walk from the BCV. The other on site location is at the Car Care Center, whcih is near the Magic Kingdom.

For National, the location code for the Dolphin is ORLR13 and the code for the Car Care Center is ORLR02.

If you are on the main page for National reservations, you can click on the link for "locations" (at the very bottom of the page) and then type in orlando for the city to see the various locations, along with their hours of operation and the services offered.

For Alamo, click the link for locations near the top of the main reservations page . For the Dolphin the code is ORLR74 and for the Car Care Center it is ORLR72.

How do you get to the car care center if you're going to rent a car? Birnbaum's book says tell the resort to call for you, preferably the night before. Is this what people do? We're going to be renting a car there, 2 nights into our WDW vacation, we wanted to take advantage of ME and the rental there is a bit less money than renting at the airport. We have the ressie, now need to know how to get there!

If you are at the BCv either just walk over to the Dolphin or catch the boat from the Yacht Club on the way to MGM get off at the Swan/Dolphin boat stop...

In addition to National/Alamo, you'll find that Avis has a desk at the Hilton. They have a courtesy shuttle that will pick you up and return you to your hotel. Just call them when you are ready go go. Or you can just take a Disney bus to Downtown Disney and walk across the street to the Hilton.

The car care center Alamo/National has shuttle buses that pick up. I called earlier this month and was told that the bus from SSR (which shared with POFQ) ran once an hour every hour, and you had to make a reservation for the shuttle bus at least one hour in advance. They were very prompt. I was picked up at SSR at 10:20, we stopped at POFQ to pick up some others (who took their sweet time getting onboard); then dropped off at the car care center. There was a really long line to get cars, but I still was back at the resort with my car by 11:15.

If I had been staying at the BCV, I think I would have just strolled over to the Dolphin.
