Well we All just got back from a fabulous 8 day trip to the World. We had a great time swiched resorts 3 times, what an adventure!
We left the Northeast about 5am, and made the hour drive to the airport, Breezed through security. It was so funny when we had to strip the twins of shoes and socks, Because the light up sneakers damage the x-ray. Everyone behind us thought it was great to. Well after an uneventful flight where all the kids slept for the duration, Here we Were Orlando!
We picked up our mini van got a great rate through National and sped off. Actually went the right way this time, no circling the Airport.
Went to Mc Donalds got some lunch. and sped off to Winn Dixie. Had ordered the Winn Dixie card in advance, spent 150 saved 3o dollars so we were pleased! Off to the Beach Club Resort. I went in left kids in the car with Nana. The room wasn't ready so the CM gave me a little card to call in an hour. We unloaded to the Valet as we had a ton of perishables. And went off to walk around. We were supposed to meet someone at SAB but he was not there. It was really hot and we all had pants on. So we retrieved the car and drove around in the AC. At 5pm. our Villa was ready. So off we go! Put away the groceries change into our suits and head to SAB, A hit with the kids as always. then we went to Chef Mickeys for a 7pm, Ps. It was great 8 of us for dinner. I am a vegetarian and there were lots of things for me to choose from! I had 2 plates of salad and my second came with a large yellow wasp. I prefer no wasps, so I kindly informed waitstaff and he concurred it really does ruin the flavor. The kids had bowls and bowls of the candy from the dispensers they just love that.Went back to BC, had a few ants on the floor in the bedroom figured they were lost. Called Maintance who said they would bait for them. Ok fine thanks, Off to bed.
The next am, we get up early and are off to The MK. Meet an old friend we have not seen in 20 plus years, who now is a native, we have a great time. Jungle cruise a big hit the guide was great, My 9 year old DS got to drive the Boat. Did Alladin, Country bears, Pirates all in short order.Half of the group went to Splash and Thunder mountain the other to lunch. Had lunch at Pecos Bills.great salads with lemon dressing. fries usual fare. By then it was very hot and the babies were melting so the group splintered off. My 16 DD myself and the babies make a break for the boat. decided to walk the pathway over to the Poly as the twins were sleeping. walked around the POly. Had a frozen banana, and Loved the resort ,did some shopping bought 2 toy pirate ships. And cabbed it back to the Beach Club. Had dinner with room service great as usual.
The next day we did MGM. it was very crowded. Did the usual, Ate at SCi Fi which we love. Of course got our glowing cups for like the 10th time.:p We decide to go back about 5pm as we have a Fireworks cruise. I go to change a babies diaper on the bed, and those sillylittle buggers are on my sheets. SO I call the nice bug man back and he offers to have someone change my sheets, But I am prepared I have tide tablets, So I Wash them myself.

Encore twinmomplus2!

Isnt' it just WONDERFUL that a mother of baby twins + 2 can find the time to write endless trip reports? Quality time with little kids is over-rated these days, isn't it?

I personally find all of your writing to be fascinating! Hopefully your kids won't be getting into any accidents while you're busy typing. But I'm sure if something happens to them it will be someone else's fault. It always is, right?!!

Have a great day and keep it comin' Don't think for a second that after 2 weeks we're getting bored by any of this! It's all great stuff! You may even have enough material for a book by now... or better yet, you could sell your story to the National Enquirer! (even easier money than the lawsuit imho)

But whatever you do, keep writing. We're hooked!

Thanks twinmomplus2, great updates as always

See you on the resorts board as well ;)

Thanks

Absolute delicious irony I would add

Let's see how many flavours of posts can I spin my next trip report into - LOL

How do you pre-order the Winn-Dixi card?

Are the prices as good/better than Wal-Mart Super Center?

Have a great trip-love the reports!
P.S.-
Perhaps a wasp other than yellow would have been preferable?

I believe it's called irony.

Actually, it's called sarcasm. But don't worry, Alanis Morrisette doesn't know what ironic means either and it didn't stop her from coming up with a hit song! I've heard she is looking for new material; perhaps all of you could team up with her!

"There are ants at the Beach Club, isn't it ironic, don't ya think!"

"There are bees in my sandwich, isn't it ironic, don't ya think!"

"I threatened a lawsuit and now they won't talk to me, isn't it ironic, don't ya think!"

I think it would be hilarious (not ironic though, sorry.)

When you are on stage accepting your Grammy, you can thank "all of the pathetically loyal, word-twisting DVCers I know whose low standards disgusted me enough to write this song!"

The best part is, I can watch the broadcast from home with my friends and, when you get on stage, I can say: "Hey, I know that *****!!!" (woman)

Hi Dave/Horizons Fan,

I just noticed your post.

Well, I tried waiting for it to heal on its own, but it was making people sick for 2 weeks, so I decided to get some medicine. And while these things do heal on their own sometimes, the medicine is making me feel much better!

Thanks though. I admire your restraint.

I'm attempting to peaceably coexist and follow forum topics I appreciate the dialogue and I'll not post on the thread again to have it end.
