Beach Club Villas- 2 BR lock off handicap accessible

Wonder if anyone can tell me if the beach club has any handicap accessible villas and if so how many. Really need a seat in the shower also if any of the other resorts have this also. Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

There are 2 handicap accessible 2 bedroom villas at Boardwalk, they do have a roll-in shower. The studio part that is the handicap with roll-in shower is room number 128 and 228.

Keep in mind this map does not indicate what type of handicapped villa they are, whether they have a roll in shower or just handle bars. When you make your reservation online mark that you want a handicapped villa and then call, chat or email Member Service to see if they can get you a room with a roll in shower.

All DVC Resorts have accessible villas. When you book, you need to specify what type of accessible villa you need.

If you mark you need an accessible room during online booking, you will only see accessible rooms and the room description will indicate the type of accessible room.

MS no longer needs to contact Special Services (or whatever that group name was) to block off an accessible room.

I have gotten one at two resorts. I have since had knees replaced and do not need one. I also at the Poly got something to help me rise from toilet.

 

[BCV23]

There are five 2 BR accessible villas at BCV with rollin showers in both the master and second bath. All are lock off villas. I find it necessary to book early to get one. Good luck to you.
