What exactly is an "obstructed Epcot view room" at Disney's Beach Club Villas? I am assuming that the room faces the back of the Land and/or Imagination pavilions.

You might see into Epcot and maybe some fireworks through the trees but you might also be above the road or service area.

BCV isn't known for it's views.

We just returned from a studio. 540, we could see all the high EPCOT fireworks if we looked to the extreme right while standing on our balcony. We were right in the corner. The 2 bedroom would've faced the fireworks directly ( it was the only unit facing the trees over EPCOT, then the hall made another turn inward). If we were on the first floor, we would've been facing the street and bus runs. We had a nice stay in spite of Debby's. Room needed work, and I will call member services tomorrow. Safe key was broken in locked (fixed very quickly)' no extra pillows or blanket for the pull out. Got two extra pillows within an hour. The night stand was warped, couldn't open the drawer and the entire top of the night stand had been pried off...never did come to fix in four days. Did call maintenance the day we left and said to bring a new nightstand before someone else checked in.

Thanks, Disneynutz. I suspected this was the case after reviewing the Google Earth view of Disney's Beach Club Villas. It seems as though mostly all of the rooms face a parking lot or service road. I guess BCV is more about location than the views it affords?

Pirate Granny, I am sorry to hear that your room was disappointing and in need of refurbishment. It seems as though BCV is often mentioned in these posts as a resort that is in need of upgrading. Again, I guess location is the real draw for this property.

U are right, I didn't pull out the sofa to look there. Needed an extra blankie while watching tv

BCV was built in the parking lot of the Beach Club resort, so yes, you are not going to get great views.

But you get a great pool and location to Epcot. :thumbsup2
