Hi!

Im planning at staying at a 2 bedroom at the Beach CLub Villas next May. I know there are pictures available of the room at sites like allearnet..etc but i was wondering if anyone had their own personal photos they could share with me. Plus i was curious if anyone had a picture of a real 2 bedroom villa not a 2 bedroom villa were on of the room is the connecting studio. plus any do and donts or advice about the beach club villa would be great..There will be 5 female adults staying there for a week..

Thanks so much!!!!!

okay there are very, very, very few dedicated 2-bedrooms at BCV - only 25 (I think).

so unless your reservations says dedicated. Sorry you got one of the lock outs

the big difference is the beds. Lock out as you have noted is a studio. in a dedicated 2-bedroom - it is 2 queen beds - slightly bigger closet - that say no balcony. I prefer a balcony for my guests. but hey everyone is different.

here are some pictures your folks Disers have taken

yea! there are some pictures on this link that are the dedicated 2-bedroom

From my understanding, there are three types of 2 BR at BCV: lockoffs as Pat described, 2 BR dedicated with a sleeper and one Q in the second bedroom, and 2 BR dedicated with 2 Qs. It is that last category that has only 25 villas. Each type is booked separately with Member Services...not sure how it works with DRC.

Have fun...we love BCV.

Thank you for the picture link and information...you opened my eyes to a couple of things

I was looking at the pictures is the master bathroom at the beach club smaller than the one at the Boardwalk villas?

Not to take over the thread, but when we booked our 2 bedroom villa for this January the CM told me it was one queen and a pull out...What is that considered?

Thank you!

PS - I would love see any pictures people have taken of the 2 bedroom..

I have been looking at the pictures...It is me or are the Boardwalk Villas bigger than the beach Club Villas????? Esp the bathroom I cant really tell from the pictures so maybe some one that has been to both can tell me the difference and which one is better?

The rooms at these two resorts are essentially the same size - certainly nothing that you could tell without a ruler.

It could be either a dedicated 2 BR or lockoff. The biggest difference between those two categories IMO is the lockoff has a separate door into the hallway, the dedicated does not. If I had very small children in the second bedroom, that would matter to me.

for me the big different is the lock off has a balcony and the dedicated does not.:rotfl:

the BCV has an extra door in the bathroom.

but OKW lover is right - the differences are minimum.

BCV is newer. I like the BCV better myself. but I love Epcot and being there in 5 minutes vs 15 minutes (walking from both). is pretty wonderful by itself.

Pat, I saw that earlier in the thread. That would matter to me too but I just don't know that it is accurate for all 2BR dedicated. The balconies at BCV vary so much....even from floor to floor. And in fact, I don't think there are that many rooms at all without balconies although we have had one such room. It was a lockoff 2BR accessible villa. No balcony in the master. But we've had an accessible 2 BR lockoff villa on another floor and it had a huge balcony off the studio and a long balcony in front of the master and LR.

I think it just varies.
