Beach Club Villa Check In

This is probably a stupid question, but do you check in for the beach club villas at the same place as the beach club?

When we checked in in late July we did so at the main check in. I have read most recently that the villa check in desk is open from 8-6 in the villa lobby.

I have never heard of any DVC resort having direct check in at the villa lobby. Is this something new? What about the WLV?

The desk is on the left side as soon as you enter the BCV building.

When we checked into the BCV on August 6, it was in the Villa Lobby. One of the CMs explained that they this was an experimental program and they would be trying it out for a couple of months.

How did you know to go to the villas lobby and not the main check in desk in the BC lobby?

As I got off the ME, a CM asked whether I was checking into BCV or BC. When I stated that I was staying at BCV they told me to go to BCV lobby to check in.

Does anyone have any pictures? I'm checking in Oct 16, does the car drop me off at the same location(front desk lobby) and then I walk through? I'm arriving with my family and need to be informed to direct all them.

The car will drop you off in the same location. The valets and bellmen will be there to direct you to the Villas, if necessary. (It sounds like this check-in procedure is still in a trial period.) You can't miss the path to the BCV; its down to the left as you exit the car and face the entrance to the lobby. The building is green with an Ariel statue out front.

WOW, thanks everyone. Guess it wasn't a dumb a question as I thought! I'm assuming the drive up at the main entrance is also the valet spot...same as the Wilderness Lodge?

We leave Saturday for BCV, when I get back, I'll post about the check in!
