I just upgraded our resort to the BC Concierge waterview room, I was wondering how is the view from those rooms and if they are full balconies or the small standing only ones?

Hi there...

At BC Concierge (5th Floor) only a few of the rooms have full balconies...

Here is the floor plan and you can see which rooms have the full balconies by the purple indication (see the legend)

I would love to hear your trip report about BC concierge when you are home - I am booked there for August and have not heard much about it.

>>^..^<< Thanks for the floor plan. I will definitely give you a review when we get back. I haven't heard much either.

Regarding Dormer Balconies, does anyone know if they have chairs on them? And how big they are?

Hmmmm... that link is not working properly at the moment... try it again later.. I use it all the time and normally it is fine.

Be careful...we had a waterview room, concierge in November and it was awful. Looking at the map, I'm pretty sure it was 5669. That courtyard is heavily treed with mature trees and we couldn't see one drop of water or anything else but leaves! Also, our room had double beds instead of queen. It was very, very small. You couldn't have put queen beds in it. We had to move the table and chairs everytime we wanted to go out on the balcony and then move them again when we came in so we could sit on the daybed. Hopefully there are not too many rooms like this one. We had a full balcony. The location to Epcot was wonderful. The pool was wonderful. Concierge was wonderful. But it was the worst room we have ever had inside or outside of Disney!

Hi Soccer Mom...

The floor plans may be incorrect then because it says that area of rooms (where you think you were) have dormer balconies not full balconies...

Sorry your room was small and you had to move the chairs all the time.

If you have a moment can you tell me a little more about the concierge lounge and food? How was breakfast? What kind of snacks, hot dishes, desserts in the evenings?

The lounge appears small - what there adequate seating? I also noticed the lounge looks like it has a balcony.. did you go out on it?

Thanx for anymore infor you might share.. I am hard pressed to find any reports on concierge for BC.

Did you see that ourlaughingplace.com gave Beach Club Concierge a score of 10 out of a possible 10.

They said it just doesn't get any better.

Does anyone know how old or new the rooms at the Beach Club are in terms of condition?

I thought I read somewhere about some bad room conditions but then I have also read about renovation. Have all of the rooms recently been refurbished?

Thanks in advance.

(nice name!)

Family all agrees that 5669 was our room. The map says a dormer balcony is a full balcony that pops up from under the roof. Or something like that. Whatever that means. All I know is we could walk out on it. It was as big as any balcony we have had at other resorts and it had a table and two chairs. Maybe the roof line was a little lower. If it was, it didn't bother us. The view would have been spectacular...if we had one! All the balconies I could see in that courtyard were the same. Hope that helps.

Breakfast didn't have hot food when we were there except for oatmeal. There was cereal, english muffins, bagels, different breads for toast, lots of great pastries, lots of fresh fruit (great in November when your're from the north!!), juices. We were never there during the dinner hour, but I remember the desserts being yummy. I thought someone said they were from Cape May. There was bottled water and soda, but you had to ask at the window. Cookies were out all day, but I'm not sure about anything else. We really only ate breakfast and grabbed water and soda. I don't remember a balcony, but maybe the doors just weren't open when we were there. It was pretty chilly last November. Also, we were there Thanksgiving week and we always found seats in the lounge for breakfast. Everyone seemed to eat and run. There wasn't much lounging at that time in the morning.

Hope this helps! Have a great time!
