Hi Everyone. We just arrived back last night after a week long trip. I was disappointed to experience everything that people had warned me about concerning the bus service. The good news, however, is that it seems they're trying to do something about the problem. Every morning we used the buses there was a person posted out there with a clipboard and walkie-talkie trying to keep track of the busses and crowds. However, it didn't seem to do much good. When we went to Animal Kingdom the CM assurred us the last bus had been there ten minutes ago so the next one would arrive in no more than five or ten minutes. Unfortunately, we waited 30 minutes. I saw the CM on her walkie talkie a couple of times talking to someone. She could also see the crowd getting restless so toward the end she assurred us that the bus was coming, and that they would send two busses. We also waited a long time for the bus to the Marketplace. The main problem, I think, is there are so many stops at so many hotels that it takes a long time to get anywhere and the busses can get held up at any of those stops. Also, the busses were always standing room only by the time they got to our hotel, and the parks were empty! I was feeling sorry for people who have to go through that during the busy season. However, there was no way the transportation problem dampened our day. From reading these boards, we were kind of prepared for it. We had a great time!
