9am park opening for HS. We'll be staying at Beach Club and will have a car. I'm leaning towards taking the boat just because I like the boat, but is that our best bet for rope drop? How early would you plan to catch the boat? 8am? Earlier? Thanks!

I'm not sure how early the boats start running, but the boat is super slow, from what I remember pre-covid. If you're able, walking will be a better option, IMO. Our last trip a few weeks ago we were at Yacht Club and left around 7:30, arrived at HS by 7:40 and were far from the first ones there. Around 8 the Skyliner starts pouring in, so it's best if you can beat that rush.

I’d walk. We did HS in Dec and walked over from BCV. We were third in line at 7:45a and they let everyone in around 8:15a for a 9:00a official opening. Walked on MMRR then headed over to SDD and MFSR. So by 9a we already hit all 3 of those attractions.

Good to know! We'll plan on walking over closer to 7:30am. Thank you!

As of last week when we were there, every park opened about 45 minutes before official opening.
we stayed at BoardWalk and walked to EPCOT and HS. The walk to HS was about 10 minutes and a nice walk.
Beach Club, personally, I would walk.
