We have three children 7,5 and 2. Our middle child, daughter, is in LOVE with Belle. So, apparently the best way to see Belle at Disney is at Epcot. SOOO, we have to figure out when during our stay to go wait for Belle. How long is the walk to "France" in Epcot from the Beach Club (where we are staying). Thanks!

Hi,
I am going to guess and say around a 20 minute walk
from Beach Club to France. It is not that far at all.
When we stayed at BCV it was like a 10- 12 minute
walk to the International Gateway.
Good Luck

BTW if she loves Belle you should try to see "Storytime with Belle". She lets the kids from the audience participate on stage acting out the characters in Beauty & the Beast. Afterwards there is a meet & greet session for pictures. The place is located next to the castle near the teacups as you leave fantastyland into tom'w land.

You can also find Belle at Mickeys toon town in the tents, & at MGM at the show. :goodvibes

oh wow! Good to know! Is that something that is done at certain, printed times? How do you get in the show? Is she always in the tents at the MK? I thought she was only at Epcot!! THanks! When we were there last winter it was storytime with Sleeping Beauty I thought...does it change or am I just confused AGAIN?? :confused3

And it's an easy walk, too. Trees, boats going by in the canal, very pleasant.

Belle is also only out at certain times in France, too. One day, only Beast was there the whole day....no Belle
:(

So be sure to ask once you get there.

It's a nice walk. Beach Club is closer than Yacht Club to Epcot, so it's maybe 15 or 20 minutes for little legs.

Check out this link for all the info & pictures of Belle's storytime..

This is listed as tentative timing for the shows...

Join Belle at Fairytale Garden as we bring her story of Beauty and the Beast to life.
Daily at 11:10am, 12:10, 1:10, 2:10, 4:05 & 5:05pm
Sign language interpreted performances Monday & Thursday at 11:10am. Arrive at least 15 minutes before the show. Please sit or stand in the RIGHT section of the audience. If necessary, see a host or hostess for assistance. LIMITED SEATING.

There is a "princess room" at Mickey toon town & the princess pictures are shown on the beginning of the line so you know ahead of time who is there.

Hope this helps!

That helps a LOT! :cool1: Thanks! Do you know how early we should plan on getting to storytime with Belle in order to definetly get in? If it is the area that I am thinking it is really small, and I'm sure, a LOT of little girls wanting to go to it!

Bhoffman,

It says to arrive 15 mins before the show. We've always come around that time & have always got in. My DD was "Chip" she was 4 at the time & when she was 7 she got to be "Mrs. Potts". She's 9 now, I don't think she'll do it anymore. :sad2:

Geez, I would say 15-20 minutes is really conservative to walk from BC to Epcot... walking briskly, and assuming no wait at the turnstyles, I think you could easily be from your room at the BC to the France pavilion in 10 minutes flat... it is really close.
