We are taking a quick trip to beach club in July...we have never done the studio rooms before (usually we would do a 1 bedroom)....any tips?...I know we won't have a full kitchen or washer...eeeeek

Thanks for any help

We've had wonderful experience with the BCV studios on our several stays. The laundry room is near the elevator, so the lack of a washer and dryer isn't a show-stopper. Not having a kitchen did make me wish there were more breakfast options at the QS inside the mercantile. There are plenty of breakfast places close by, but I was looking for things to pick up and bring back to sleepy-heads in the room. LOL, guess I shouldn't complain. There were more choices there than when we stayed at Kidani.

One warning, beware of the studio at the far end of the hall. We actually liked the room because it was bigger than the typical studio and had a really large balcony. (It's bigger because it has a hallway from the door into the main part of the room. We stacked all the luggage and stuff in the hall, which got it out of the way. The balcony is bigger because it's on a corner.) The warning is because the room shares a wall with the parking lot elevator, and has very loud elevator noises "rumbling" in the walls. Fortunately, this elevator doesn't get used very often at night, so we usually only heard the noise when we were sitting in the room during the day. But boy, did we hear it then.

We recently had our first studio stay after several 1 BR stays. One problem was that we had bought 2 or 3 liter sodas, and with the small refrigerator, we had a little trouble getting them to fit. Also, we missed the ready supply of ice cubes. If you go thru ice cubes like we do, hope to be near an ice machine.
