Beach Club Resort for W&D half

I am planning ahead for next year... (Love how only on DISboards I would not be mocked for advanced planning ). Anyhoo is anyone staying at CBR for this year's W&D and can tell him what the rates are like?

We are heading to WDW for two week for Christmas this year and then hopefully to DL for the DDD in 2015 and then WDW for the W & D in 2015. Budgeting is really important.

Kinda like the butterfly effect... one wrong number and everything will be sent askew!

I'd be interested in that too. My wife and I are looking into running the Wine N Dine in '15. Is the Boardwalk or Yacht Club host resorts? I would love to stay there.

We did the W&D a couple years ago and stayed at the Beach Club. It was a host resort. Can't ask for a better place to stay because you can just walk right back from the late night after party at EPCOT to the resort. No need to walk all the way back to the front of EPCOT and then wait around for a bus.

I do not recall what we paid back then, but if you can swing it I would definitely stay there.

Stayed at Yacht Club last year for Wine and Dine and loved it! Great location for getting back to bed after the race and party. Easy walk ( not that you need any more steps after a half marathon. )

I'm not an expert on rates, but I think you should be able to take advantage of the bounce back discount if you reserve while on your trip in December. I think those discounts are usually 30% off (room only), but I'm sure others will correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Bounce back dates for 2015 show the weekend of the 2015 wine and dine as blacked out. Fresh back from beach club and this years race and specifically looked for it.

Did you book via RunDisney after it was announced as a 2014 host resort, or did you book it via the regular WDW website?

I want to stay at the beach club and want to be sure its not fully booked.

I booked through run Disney. When I booked, there was nothing available from Disney direct, as it showed the hotel sold out. However, run Disney had space. I booked immediately after registering, which I did right after registration became available.
