Beach Club Pool Renovations

I just got back and stayed at the BC.

I was SHOCKED to see that the pool is undergoing renovations. Almost the entire pool is open. However you can not get from the Beach Club side to the Yacht Club side without going around the outside (on the outside walkway or resort interior walkway)

I know this might not seem like a big deal but the pool is the BIGGEST reason we stay there. We like to sit on the sandy, 3 foot side with out little ones. And watch our big kids go down the slide & hang out in the activities area. But we couldn't do this b/c these two areas are separated by big construction walls. Also getting food is kind of a pain if you are on the BC side.

Just wanted to give a heads up b/c it really was annoying. I don't know when it will be completed.

We've discussed this on the BC/YC thread and also in another thread about a week or two ago. I had posted some photos from when we were there in January. Agree - it's a mess. But it's been going on for at least 6 weeks - when we were there last - so maybe it will be done soon.

We stayed at Beach Club last week. We spent four afternoons at the pool. There are some white walls up that block the view, but as was said, most of the pool is open. For us, it was a minor inconvenience at most.

Do you guys know how long the revovations will be going on for? We will be there early May. Thanks!
