Beach Club options

I know there are TONS of us that LOVE the Beach Club, but bet a number of us hide it because we don't want everyone to know "our secret"! I just returned from our 3rd stay at the Beach Club Villas - my true home - not the one I go to everyday after work! I'll add my comments:

Marketplace - I am NOT impressed by their selections; in fact, we didn't order anything from there. The freezer section is smaller and not stocked for a Studio that has only a microwave vs. the ovens in the 1-2 bedrooms. I went to get a frozen pizza from there I saw the night before, but they were all gone! I am only grateful that the mug refill is there and we don't have to keep walking to B&C. As far as shopping here, I continue to be disappointed with the service. Only one trip was the service great - they got a frame out of the front window for me! This time I wanted a sweatershirt in a size they were out of - tough luck. And even mail order said my only recourse was to keep calling back. UGH. I got the exact same story about the trading pin frame. HELLO?! It was 2 weeks before Christmas and they are already out of stuff?!

Hurricane Hanna's - They now offer the B&C Cheeseburgers!

Beaches & Cream - Our traditional first and last meals are here. They are now piloting a program where they offer only the desserts for take out. Thus, if you want your burger to go, you are off to Hurrican Hannas. Here's the bad part for me - if I'm tied and want my meal, I have to go to Hannas for my burger, B&C for my Frozen Sunshine, and am out of luck for to-go onion rings. I am NOT a happy camper about this.

And for the millionth time, destroy the arcade and make B&C bigger!

You still can't beat the location and awesome architecture!

do you know if the HH burgers come with fries or chips? The B&C burgers always came with fries, would not want chips!

I agree with B&C and the Marketplace!! I was so upset on Friday night when I tried to pick up DH a sandwich at B&C and I waited in line only to be told they don't have food for take out anymore, only ice cream!!

I did end up getting him a sandwich at the Marketplace but what a pain. You have to wait in line for your food and then wait in line again to pay for it and they don't take DDE, plus we had to go back and forth, and this was after a bad dinner at Cape May. Let's just say BC didn't score any points with us on that night.

Wouldn't it be nice to have something like the Gasparilla Grille over at BC?

I've been going there for years and even with the update this past year the options are so limited.

I don't understand why they don't expand somewhere. What do they have to lose?

It comes with chips, but you can order fries separately. (Glad I'm not the only detail-oriented one!)
