From the menu on allears.net, it appears that the breakfast selections are very limited. Do they have the standard breakfast platter there? We were trying to pick a resort for our November, 2010 stay, and my son won't vote until he knows his bacon situation.:rotfl:

Quick service at BC is very limited. B/fast had some cold items plus only a couple b/fast sandwiches.

the previous poster put it nicely... in my family's opinions, the b'fast selections stunk!! we ended up buying a bag of pre-packaged bagels, toasting them and buttering/cream cheesing them and eating them in the room...

there is a rumor that the yacht club added a CS b'fast option since we were last there... if so, that or the b'walk would be your best bet!

Yes - The selection was very limited...

but I really enjoyed some of the food from the marketplace (ex. Roast Beef with Brie Sandwich)

Agree with PP.... I believe there is a Breakfast option at Captains Grille...a Buffet....
I just checked the menu at allearsnet.com and it does look like DS can get his Bacon Fix. !!!:thumbsup2

YC is a QUICK walk from BC...not far at all...

BC is our FAVORITE resort... we love it for SAB....

Have a magical visit !

Yacht Club Breakfast Buffet - Seasonal fruit, Yogurt, assorted Danish and Muffins, Pancakes, Smoked Salmon and Bagels, Bread Pudding, Oatmeal, Cold Cereals, Bacon, Sausage, Potatoes, Scrambled Eggs, Eggs Benedict, and Chef's Frittata (includes coffee, tea, juice, and soft drinks)

Thank you to everyone for the responses!

There is no good place inthe Epcot resort area to get a "quick' breakfast. There are good TS options, but no food court style dining. They did run a test last summer at Beaches and Cream piloting a CS breakfast option, but it ended in August and was not kept as permanent

We stayed at the Beach Club back in December and yes the Marketplace is terrible for breakfast if you are used to scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits, etc. They really don't have anything for a "hot" breakfast. Most is just grab and go, cold cereals, and baked goods. This was the number one complaint we had about staying at the Beach Club. The main reason we stayed there was we got a good deal on the room. Other than that my family prefers quick service breakfast similar to that at the Polynesian and the Wilderness Lodge or even Port Orleans Riverside. There is however sit down breakfast at Cape May Cafe and next door at the Yacht Club there is sit down breakfast at the Captain's Grille. Last summer there was a test run at Beaches and Cream for quick service breakfast. Sounded like it did well but not well enough. They cancelled it some time in August.
Another alternative is to order room service which we did a couple times.

There's only one place in the Epcot resort area that sells breakfast platters in a CS type atmosphere, and that's Picabu at the Dolphin. That won't help anyone on the dining plan. If you have park hoppers, you can always enter Epcot for breakfast at Sunshine Seasons.

Where is this served at the YC? I have stayed at the YC many times over the past decade and was just there last week. I did not notice any new places serving a breakfast buffet which meets this description. Although I stay club level and usually eat b'fast in the lounge, I am curious as to where this buffet was available.

this is at the Captain's Grille. You have the choice to eat the breakfast buffet or made to order breakfast menu. We had the made to order breakfast since we were eating the Beach Club Buffet later in our trip.

Captain's Grille is not a new place, but did undergo a name change within the past couple of years or so - it used to be called Yacht Club Galley.
