Beach Club- lunch at pool

Hi,
We will have two pool days at Beach Club. I am looking for ideas for lunch. Is there a quick service place available near there that can be brought into the pool area?

What is your favorite lunch item when staying or visiting Beach Club?

Two places come to mind...... Hurricane Hanna's is right by the pool with mainly burgers, chicken sandwiches, etc. There is also the Marketplace at the Beach Club, which has cold sandwiches, flatbread pizzas, etc. They package everything to go so very easy to take to the pool. Our favorite lunch at the YC/BC is the burgers at Crews Cup lounge. I don't know if they will package it to go or not, but we think it is a good burger. The last time we were there they had shrimp tacos, which were also pretty tasty. They have been changing their menu around every so often, so I don't know if they still have them.

Thank you! I checked out the menu of all the places and the Crews Cup Lounge definitely is most appealing. Thank you for the suggestion. I wouldn't have even considered that option. Do you know if kids are allowed inside the lounge? Is it a long walk outside from the BC pool to the lounge?

It is not a long walk and kids are allowed. I ate there with my son when he was 10.

I have read here that the Crew's Cub does NOT package for take out.
Children are allowed, but it is a - low key - lounge. Check if they have a kids menu, I don't know. I also wouldn't head there in swimsuits on a pool day.

We love the salad with chicken and the falafel at Hurricane Hanna's. We loved Crew Cup as well. We weren't as fond of the options at Marketplace. Another option would be to stroll over to Boardwalk Bakery and get goodies to enjoy by the pool. We really enjoyed the treat of ordering poolside and having our lunch delivered to our lounge chairs. If you enjoy an adult beverage, be sure to try the Sunken Treasure. So good!

We ate lunch at Hurricane Hanna's one day and my husband really liked his pulled pork sandwich. It was nice to have the waiter to take our order and bring the food to us. We also had lunch at the new YC quick service. We shared one of the sandwiches they had in the frig. It was pretty good. But our favorite place to have lunch at the YC/BC is Captain's Grille. It is never crowded at lunch and the food is very good. The shrimp tacos are my new favorite entree.

Crew's Cup Lounge would be my recommendation. We've eaten there many times with our kids for lunch/dinner/snacks. My recollection is that they do not package to go but they do have a kids' menu (at least I believe that's what someone told me in a past discussion about Crew's Cup). I thought Hurricane Hannah's was just ok at best. Hurricane Hannah's does have seating though so you can grab a bite there without having to leave the pool.

We typically eat at Hurricane Hanna's the most - it's the most convenient because they have the servers that take your order and bring it to you. We also like Crew's Cup if we want to take a break and cool off. The steak sandwich is amazing! I really wish they would let you take food to go though.

We did Hurricane Hanna's twice. The kids really enjoyed it. The burger was pretty good too.

They now have a QS restaurant where the old resort store was in the YC. If you sit at the bar by Hurricane Hannah's they have a few other options (can't deliver them to tables or take to go). My husband loves the ahi tuna from the bar! I've walked over to Boardwalk Bakery and brought back sandwiches/salads for more variety than Hurricane Hannah's. You can get several additional entrees from Hurricane Hannah's that are not on the posted menu. If you walk over to the Dolphin, they have lots of options in their QS area too.

Captain's Grille has closed along with the lobby bar, Ale and Compass, but there hasn't been any word that Crew's Cup will close. The Yacht Club can't lose all of its bars.
