What is it like in terms of times to get to MK, epcot and HS?

with a dd5 and ds2 is it walkable (ds in a stroller) to monorail at epcot?

Do the buses share with other resorts and take ages?

Thanks

It is absolutely walkable to EPCOT with a stroller. It's an unbelievably short walk to the World Showcase entrance which is why I love staying in that area so much.

DHS is a bit further, but doable as long as it's not in the heat of the day.

Bus service....that's probably a repressed memory. :lmao:

Yes it is, but a hike. It's through the IG (International Gateway) then all the way up front and back out the front gates to the monorail. IMO easier to take the bus.

Hi,

You can walk to the International Gateway entrance of Epcot in five to ten minutes.

You can walk to the Studios in about fifteen or twenty minutes (depending on how fast or slow you walk) or you can take a boat.

Buses will take you to the MK and AK.

To get to the Epcot monorail stop you would have to enter Epcot through the International Gateway and walk through the park to the main entrance, then walk out to the monorail station. That monorail will take you to the TTC, where you would then transfer to another monorail to the MK and/or the MK resorts. A bus will be MUCH faster!

We walked to EPCOT in like 5 minutes. It was a wonderful walk.

The bus service to Magic Kindgom was not bad.

I enjoyed the boat ride to Disney Studios, but the boat ride wait coming back was awful. In those cases, I recommend either leaving early or taking the EPCOT bus and walking through the park for some pictures and back down International Gateway to get to the resort.

Or, you could just walk back to BC from DHS (15 - 20 minute walk), which will be much quicker and easier than busing to Epcot and walking all the way through Epcot to get back to BC.

You can walk from the BC to Epcot in about 5 minutes and that's with kids. As for DHS, we usually take the Boat because it's a bit of a hike with the boys but it's a quick ride. The bus rides are wonderful and I have never had to wait too long for any of them. Have Fun!

We stayed at BC in the summer and had a blast!! It took us about 2 minutes to be inside Epcot if we walked slow because I requested a room close to Epcot. We were on the very end closest to Epcot. :thumbsup2 To get to the monorail at Epcot, you would go in the International Gateway, by UK and Canada and through Future World to the front of Epcot. It would take you less than 10 minutes.

The buses to and from BC are shared with the Swan, Dolphin, YC and BW. Sometimes they are really full but mostly they are not. There are usually so many buses running that they are not shared with all the resorts at one time and sometimes only run to one resort.

BC is my favorite deluxe resort. I hope you enjoy it!!
