We've stayed at the BVC but not at the hotel. Does anyone know the exact square footage difference between a BC hotel room and BCV studio? Also, is there a bedding difference- I.e. duvet versus bedspread?
Any other differences you know of (besides the kitchen).
Thanks.

The biggest difference is the studio has a queen bed and a double sofa bed. Good for a couple but not good for a family.

Here are the bedding for each.

If there are only two of you, a studio might work out. But if you have more than two, you'll want two real beds.

I would choose the hotel. The rooms are updated, the DVC rooms are nice but need some serious updating!

The pic doesn' t show it, but many BC/YC rooms also have a day bed. You can go on allears.net under accommodations, and find the Sq Ft of the rooms.

The other big difference is all villas at BCV have full balconies, at BC there are some rooms with just juliet balconies.

I don't agree with that. We have had 3 different family members, me included sleep on the sofa bed and no one complained. :rolleyes1

I slept with another adult (neither of us very big) on the sofa bed in a Beach Club Villa. All I will says is: never again either with someone else or by myself.

The studio has a queen bed and a pullout sofa that is a full, whereas the BC room has two queens.
