Do all Garden View rooms have true balconies?(i.e. 2 chairs to sit in) If not if requested is there a good chance you'll get one?

No. 50%of Beach Club rooms have full balconies. That is also true for all categories including Garden View. Your chance, with a request, is 50-50

I cannot give you a definitive answer in regards to view and balcony, but I will say that there are not that many true balconies at the BC. I believe the YC has more. THere are Juliet balconies, btu you canot really use them for much other than to expand the view. If a large balcony is important, be sure it is your only request.

Large balcony (or full balcony, something like that) was one of the choices for online checkin for our March 5-9th BC stay. It's not a guarantee, of course, but I selected this and we got the large balcony requested. If it's important to you, I'd make it your only request.

As the PP said, at BC large, full size balcony is hit or miss. However, if you are not particular about the room's location, I would put it as the only request. I've stayed over at BC several times, and they have honored it every time.

The little balconies totally ruin the deluxe stay. We enjoy breakfast, cocktails and down time on the balcony. I have never understood the "Juliet" balconies. Some of them have awesome views but what is the point when only one of you can enjoy it? Love BC but I have moved before when assigned one of these rooms.

This is one of the reasons we stay Beach Club - a balcony is very important to me (although last time our neighbor insisted on smoking on their balcony, which was really annoying).

We've stayed at the Beach Club four times and we've always gotten a full balcony. I would just make it your only request.

Thank you everyone. I called yesterday and booked a Lagoon/Pool view all the GV's were taken. I am going to do exactly what everyone here says and when I do on line check in I will make full balcony my only request, and when I booked yesterday I told the CM to also put full balcony as my only request. Fingers crossed.
