Hi! We are thinking about staying at the Beach Club, the second week of December, in 2003. Will it be too cold for my kids to do Stormalong Bay then (they'll be just about to turn 5 then)? Is this a good resort to stay in at Christmas time? We have stayed at the Poly and WL (in Sept. and Mar.) and really liked both. We thought Beach Club would be a good next choice. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! How early is too early to book? How do they handle deposits when the rates for that time aren't out yet? I can apply a DC or code discount later, can't I? Thanks so much!

I will attempt to answer some of your questions

1. SAB - is it too cold to swim.
It will depend on the weather. So we can't really answer that one.

2. You can book now and they will tell you that the rate is not guaranteed and will be adjusted when the 2003 rates are announced.

3. If a special then is available for your travel dates you can call them or have your travel agent call Disney and adjust your reservation to reflect the discount (if any).

Likely don't need to book until early next year. Weather can sometimes be warm enough for the pool but it is often too cool. If you reserve and then later want to apply a discount, process is usually a cancellation of reservation you have and new reservation for discounted room. Same result, just some extra steps.
