Stayed in one of these rooms last summer for five days. My view (don't remember the number) was not particularly exciting -- could see the lagoon over some trees. The room was a little on the small size, but very nice. We didn't spend a whole lot of time in there -- my son wanted to spend any free time in the fantastic pool. I think the rooms in concierge are pretty much the same as the standard rooms in the rest of the hotel.
The snacks in the lounge were good, and the staff did a good job of keeping things stocked. My son really enjoyed the mini-hotdogs -- he still talks about those. Other than that, we really didn't eat there much. I recall that in the late afternoon there was usually cheese, nuts, fruit, crackers, and several hot cocktail-type snacks. There were sometimes little pb&j sandwiches. I think they had chicken wings once. They play Disney movies in the lounge, and my son enjoyed hanging out for an hour or so with other kids his age watching Tarzan.
At night they had various desserts, wine, and cordials. The desserts certainly looked impressive -- the same things you see in Disney bake shops for a lot of money (although the ones I tried didn't actually taste that great, oddly enough). The wine was plentiful and pretty good.
We mostly used the lounge for hot tea and soft drinks; it was so convenient to be able to run in and ask for a few sodas whenever we wanted. I probably drank at least a six pack a day. They also had bottled water, which was nice.
Also -- the NYTimes every morning at our door! The staff was really nice and helped several times with last minute reservations at Disney restaurants. I am sure that with two small children you will find it super convenient and enjoyable. It is certainly super expensive, so it better be enjoyable, right?
