Anyone have any info or tips on the character breakfast at Beach Club. Saw some pictures of Minnie in her beach costume, very cute, thinking of taking DD there during our next trip, 10/16-10/23. Whats on the menu? Which characters? Any help is appreciated. Thanks. :)

This is our favorite breakfast place in all of WDW. Goofy, Minnie, CHip and Dale are in their bathing suits and since the place is not that busy you get a ton of character time and the best interaction we have ever had. The food is awesome and there is a huge selection of it, the most variety of fruit I have ever seen

that is what I was going to say.

Cape May is my favorite breakfast the characters are GREAT and lots of interaction. The buffett has mickey waffles, bacon, sausage, eggs, some type of fritatta, cereal, fruit, yougurt, danish, usually something for everyone.

This also has a lot of long term cast members there. Dorothy C is my favorite from New York! She is great and if you ask the character handlers or the servers will take pictures for you too.

Have a great time!

I agree-it's great! However, it's the only CB where I have gotten characters other than what the CM said. I know they always say "Characters may change", but they never have! The last time we were there, though, we didn't see Goofy but Stitch was there.
Tink901-I also had a great server named Dorothy. Actually, she wasn't my server but my server wasn't the most prompt and I was solo. It seemed she was concerned that since I was solo, I might feel "left out", so she was always checking on me. What a sweetie!

I really like this character breakfast. I didn't feel like I was in a crowded room with a million kids clammering to get to Mickey or Minnie.... we really enjoyed it! The one thing I will say is give your self PLENTY of time to get there! It took us well over an hour to get there from Port Orleans Riverside.

I agree withe what everyone else has said so far. My DBF and I love this character breakfast because it is a little more laid back compared to some. Don't go expecting the antics of Chef Mickey's, but do go for the great character interaction- plus, it is neat to see them in their beach clothes :goodvibes

This is our FAVORITE character meal in WDW! :goodvibes It's tradition for us to eat here the morning we leave. The food is delicious, I'm personally a huge fan of the Mickey waffles, mmmm my mouth's watering just thinking about it. We've also had some of the best character interaction there, the characters don't seem to be as rushed as they are at Chef Mickey's. :thumbsup2

Here is what I remember on the buffet:

Yogurt bar had 2 types of yogurt, granola, almonds, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, chocolate chips, honey and other types of nuts.

The regular table had:

waffles
bacon
sauasage
sausage gravy with biscuits
asparagus
scrambled eggs
frittata omelet thing
hash brown casserole
fried potatoes with onions and peppers
bread pudding
blintzes
5 types of cereal with milk
oatmeal with all the toppings
grits
oranges, grapefruit(red), pineapple, honeydew, watermelon, cantelope, grapes
cottage cheese
apple sauce

I am so excited to read this thread:yay: :yay: :yay:

We were moved from AKL to BC and so I switched our character breakfast from Donald's to Cape May, once I discovered Cape May...walking to breakfast sounded so much better than the early am bus ride.:goodvibes

I'm thrilled to hear such good things about it.

i made an ADR to go here since the new CB at Tusker House is not yet open for reservations. Now with hearing all of these great reviews I think I'm going to keep this ADR and when TH is accepting ADRs for their new CB, i'll just have one more day of ADRs!!

Thank you everyone for all the information, we look forward to the breakfast and the characters in their swimsuits. :rotfl2:

My fave too, for character breakfasts...nice and "low key", as opposed to Chef Mickey's. Great buffet..and as I was reading the food lineup another poster listed above, I remember that I didn't even see the yogurt bar until it was too late! :lmao:
That's ok, tho...the food was plentiful enough! I specifically made our reservation as one of the latest you could get, so it would act as our lunch too. It was the last meal we had before leaving, and was a fine send-off...

We love this place. The character interaction is great and the food is great too. They have lots and lots of fresh fruit, yogurt and they have one cereal that is nutty and crunchy that I love even though I have NO idea what the heck it is. I wish I did cause I love it!
