Beach and Kennedy Space Center - What do you think???

Can we make it to Kennnedy Space Center and the beach all in one day?

If so -- how should we do it?

There are many who feel you'd need a full day at Kennedy Space Centre, but our family was content with a half day visit, followed by an afternoon at the beach (you have an entire Atlantic coast to choose from - and Cape Canaveral National Seashore is close by). Plan on an early start out of Orlando, and I am sure you will thoroughly enjoy your day.
