I have read often where you need to follow-up or confirm the number of points, etc. when making reservations.
And I do just that. I confirm the number of points used and how many left and try to make sure that the banked or borrowed points have been used.
Last week, I confirmed that I had 99 left to bank for next year and the ressie used 44. When I went online last night, I saw where I had only 75 left to bank and they had used 68 for the reservation that I made last week.
I called MS and they corrected the overcharge for points, but it was then showing that I had 24 that could not be banked since they were borrowed points. Hopefully, it has all been corrected and reallocated now.
